Alan Harris and Scott Spreitzer brokedown a handful of NFL games for week-10 with Raphael Esparza. The guys spoke a bit about the public Sunday that beat-up the Vegas books before jumping into the Saints-Bengals, Patriots-Titans, and Cowboys-Eagles. Alan and Scott discussed the "what if" lines involving potential CFB Championship Game matchups. Alabama is -8.5 over Clemson and double digit favorites to everyone else. The guys then previewed Miss State v. Bama and Ohio State v. Michigan. Jason Simbal, VP of Risk Mgmt at CG Sports Books joined Alan and Scott and talked about the beating the public delivered on Las Vegas books this past weekend. The guys then gave their thoughts on the odds to win the AFC & NFC titles. And finally, Alan and Scott wrapped up the show with this week's Best Bets.
Let's put the week-9 sports book losses in perspective. While it's estimated Nevada books lost between $7 mil and $10 mil this past weekend, they also set a record for profits in September, gaining over 50-million dollars.
