This year's Preakness Stakes Results was interesting as Afleet Alex came to the backstretch in position to blow away the field when he ran into the back of Scrappy T and nearly threw his jockey off. However, Jeremy Rose made a great recovery to stay on his horse and pulled away for victory in the Preakness. Afleet Alex was by far the best horse in the Preakness Stakes and will be a heavy favorite when the Belmont States comes on June 11, 2005.
