Take Seattle over Boston (1:35 p.m., Thursday, April 24)

This matchup is for Thursday, April 24th, between the Seattle Mariners and the Boston Red Sox. Both teams enter this series currently in 2nd place in their respective divisions. Take #558 Minnesota (-3) over L.A. Lakers (9:30 p.m., Friday, April 25)

MLB Baseball Prediction From Strike Point Sports:

Take Seattle (-1.5) over Miami (9:40 p.m., Friday, April 25)

The Mariners offense is starting to come together giving their excellent pitching staff some support which has resulted in them winning more games. Logan Gilbert has been mowing hitters down as he is one of the league leaders in strikeouts with 41 over his 27.1 innings. All the strikeouts have costed Gilbert going deep into games as he has only made it through six innings in one of his starts, but Seattle has won four of the five games he has started. Cal Quantrill will be on the bump for the Marlins and he is not missing many bats as he has allowed 16 earned runs on 27 hits while striking out just 8 batters over his 17.1 innings pitched. Another Cal is having a much better season as Cal Raleigh has hit 9 dingers on the year and if Quantrill isn’t careful then he will be the next victim. Soccer Prediction From Doc's Sports:

Take Wolverhampton (-185) over Leicester City (10 a.m., Saturday, April 26)

We don’t mind laying the juice here and a -1.5 bet might not be a bad idea either, as Wolverhampton is in their best form of the season right now and should be extremely confident coming into this one against relegation-bound Leicester after a 1-0 road win over Manchester United last time out. That win secured their place in the Premier League next season and this team has been playing extremely well recently, with five straight wins. Leicester has nothing to play for as they will be relegated, and they have picked up only a single point in their last 10 matches. Wolverhampton seem to be building something special for the future, and we just don’t see them letting up here against an inferior opponent. Last meeting, in December, at King Power Stadium, Wolverhampton cruised to a 3-0 road win, with three goals in the first half. They could have had more but took their foot off the gas. We see a similar dominant performance here, and we had this line handicapped at -225, so there is value on the moneyline despite the high juice. MLB Prediction From Griffin Murphy:

Take Boston (-1.5) over Cleveland (1:40 p.m., Sunday, April 27)

Boston comes into this game 2nd in the AL East and is finally barreling up the baseball. Boston is 11th in offensive runs per game, 6th in hits, 12th in team batting average, and 6th in stolen bases. Boston is very aggressive on the base path; they are not afraid to take walks, and they have power upon power in this lineup. Cleveland is off to a solid start, sitting in 2nd in the AL Central. Cleveland has not been a dominant force this season, and they are lacking heavily when it comes to their bullpen. Cleveland has a team ERA sitting at 3.98; they are 23rd in WHIP, 21st when it comes to home runs against, and 22nd in fielding percentage. Boston is the better team, and they finally have caught momentum. I believe Boston comes in and blasts Cleveland at Progressive Field in today’s matchup.
