Free College Football Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take #147 Clemson (-20.5) over Wake Forest (Noon, Saturday, Oct. 12)
We scored another blowout win last week with Navy and I am now 26-11 (70%) with my last 37 free plays. We have racked up 52 of 75 wins in this space (69%) and I am 97-51 (66%) with my free newsletter plays over the last 147 weeks. Yes, this is a letdown spot for Clemson after their big win over Florida State last week. But that game wasn’t nearly as big as it looked like it would be when everyone scanned the schedule back in the summer. That game was expected to be a clash of Top 10 teams that would decide the ACC. Instead, Clemson was an afterthought after getting humiliated by Georgia in the opener and Florida was a laughingstock after starting the season 1-3. Clemson jumped out to a 17-0 lead in that FSU game and it was really never as close as the 29-13 final looked. Clemson was inside the 10-yard line three times and settled for field goals on all three trips (and also added a 31-yard field goal). Clemson has been mauling teams since that loss to the Bulldogs in Atlanta, winning by 46, 24, 26 and 16 points against four teams that are better than Wake Forest. Wake was outgained by over 100 yards, had the ball for 10 minutes less, and were down 10 points in the fourth quarter, yet somehow managed to comeback and beat a weak N.C. State club. These guys aren’t good. And if the Tigers show the same focus that they have over the last month, they should bury this overmatched opponent. Free College Football Prediction From Raphael Esparza:
Take 'Over' 49.0 Texas at Oklahoma (3:30 p.m., Saturday Oct. 12)
The oddsmakers posted this total at 51 on Sunday late afternoon and quickly got bet down to 49. I'm a little shocked that this total is this low, as in the last 10 meetings between these two teams this is the lowest total posted. In the last 4 Red River Rivalry, games 3 of them have gone 'Over' the total and the winner in those 4 games averaged 47.7 ppg. Texas comes into this Red River Rivalry a perfect 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread, and the Longhorns are averaging 43.2 ppg this year. The Longhorns are 6-2 O/U last 8 games as a favorite, and the Sooners are 11-4 O/U as an underdog. Free College Football Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take #128 Pittsburgh (-3.5) over California (3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12)
We have nailed six straight free plays in the last six weeks in this newsletter! Cal is still in shellshock after blowing a big lead to Miami in the fourth quarter with some very questionable calls going against them. Now they must fly cross country to Pittsburgh to take on a 5-0 Panthers squad. Pittsburgh is coming off a double-digit conference road win last time out, and I see them winning this game by double digits as well. Lay the points with the home team on Saturday. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports weekend card, featuring a top play in college football. This will include our College Football Game of the Year, a selection that won last year! Free College Football Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take #149 Mississippi State (+34) over Georgia (4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12)
It was a solid win with our free play last week with the Vikings. Now we look to do it again in college football in the SEC. This is too many points for the Bulldogs. UGA has dominated the SEC over the last four years and has won 41 straight league home games, so now they are facing massive spreads like this. That makes it tough to beat. They are 0-4 ATS in their last four games and are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games. Mississippi State is coming off a bye week and will be healthy. They played at Texas and lost 35-13 as a 37-point underdog, and they should be able to cover another five-touchdown spread here. Georgia has a big game against Texas next week and will rest key players once this game gets out of hand. Take the points here. Free NFL Prediction From Jason Sharpe:
Take 'Over' 44.5 Jacksonville vs. Chicago (9:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 13)
The Chicago Bears look like they have started to figure some things out on the offensive side of the football over the last few weeks. The Bears come in off their best offensive performance of the season last week, as they put up 36 points in their winning effort over Carolina. Chicago used a ton of no huddle offense in that contest, and the offense looked good in doing so. The Jacksonville Jaguars are also coming off their best offensive game this season last Sunday, putting up 37 points in their win over Indianapolis. This number feels a bit short for two teams that just combined to score 73 points last weekend. Play 'over' this total. Free NFL Prediction From Griffin Murphy:
Take Cincinnati (-3.5) over N.Y. Giants (8:20 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13)
Cincinnati comes into this game 1-4 on the season after dropping one to Baltimore on Sunday in a 38-41 OT loser. Cincinnati put up 38 points on the offensive side against perhaps one of the stronger defenses in the NFL in the long-term spectrum. Joe Burrow is finally turning it up. Burrow has been known to start season’s slow and then erupt. I believe this is a perfect situation for this to occur. Burrow is currently 125-173 across his passing ratings, with 1,370 yards passed, 12 touchdowns, and just 2 picks. New York is coming off a huge win against Seattle. New York has been inconsistent all season long, and the main issue here is Daniel Jones. Each week, you never know what to expect. This, to my eyes, is a case of liability. New York does have a solid defense, although they do struggle a bit on pass defense. I believe Ja’marr Chase is going to be a massive issue for this Giants defense, and Joe Burrow should look to light it up on Sunday night primetime football. Free NFL Prediction From Vernon Croy:
Take First Half Over 21.0 San Francisco at Seattle (8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10)
Now let's get to your NFL comp play for Thursday, October 10th, 2024, between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. San Francisco ranks second in the NFL in total yards accumulated offensively this season. San Francisco has also converted 46.6% of their third downs overall this season. San Francisco's opponents have converted 43.3% of their third downs against them this season. Seattle has averaged the third most passing yards per game this season at 270 and they have converted 37.3% of their third downs this season. There were 20 points in the first half of Seattle's last game against a Giants team that has struggled offensively this season but they put up 10 points against Seattle on the road. San Francisco put up 23 points in the first half of their last game and they also allowed Arizona to put up 10 points in the first half of that game against them. Obviously, San Francisco is a much better offensive team than the Giants, who put up 10 points in the first half against Seattle. Keep in mind this is a Giants team that has averaged 17.8 points per game, and that includes the 29 points they put up at Seattle. So we are taking San Francisco/Seattle 1ST HALF GAME TOTAL OVER 21 points here Thursday. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here.
