Free College Football Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take ‘Under’ 42.5 Florida State at Duke (7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18)
We scored another blowout win last week with Clemson and I am now 27-11 (71%) with my last 38 free plays. We have racked up 53 of 76 wins in this space (70%) and I am 98-51 (66%) with my free newsletter plays over the last 148 weeks. We have two terrible offenses taking the field in this one and I think this game will be dominated by the defenses. Duke is No. 10 in the country in pass defense and No. 25 in total defense. They are allowing just 17.5 points per game, No. 23 in the country, and will be tough on that side of the ball. The Blue Devils are taking on one of the worst offenses in college football. Florida State is No. 129 in total offense, No. 134 running the football and No. 131 in scoring with just 14.8 points per game. FSU hasn’t topped 20 points since their season-opening loss to Georgia Tech. It won’t get easier for them here on the road. Florida State’s defensive numbers are weak. But they are better than their stats show. This team really has played several top tier offenses (Clemson, SMU, Memphis). Duke doesn’t have that. They are No. 98 in the country in total offense and No. 111 rushing the ball. FSU has had two weeks to prepare for this game and Mike Norvell has been very good at getting his team’s ready with extra time to prepare. Florida State has gone ‘under’ in five of their six games and Duke has gone ‘under’ in four of their six. The last two meetings between these clubs have been high scoring. But the ‘under’ is 5-2 in their last seven against one another. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free College Football Prediction From Raphael Esparza:
Take 'Over' 55.0 Oklahoma State at BYU (10:15 p.m., Friday Oct. 18)
This BYU Cougars team is fun to watch, and Friday night they put their perfect record on the line against Oklahoma St. BYU is 6-0 straight up and 6-0 against the spread and their offense is averaging 34.3 ppg. I like this play not because of the Cougars offense but the lack of the Oklahoma St defense. The Cowboys have dropped three straight, and their 'D' has given up an average of 34 ppg and the Cougars offense will have no issue scoring at home. Free College Football Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take #410 Missouri (-4.5) over Auburn (Noon, Saturday, Oct. 19)
Really questioning why this line is so low. Auburn is a dumpster fire and will enter this game having lost 3 straight games including two home games (opened with 5 straight home games). This offense is prone to turnovers, and the Hugh Freeze magic at Ole Miss and Liberty has not developed at Auburn. Missouri bounced back from a loss to Texas A&M with a blowout win at UMASS (yes they played UMASS on the road) and I see them winning this game by double digits. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports Weekend card, featuring plays in football, hockey, and UFC. Sign-up now with a 7- or 30-day picks package and let 53 years of experience work for you. Free NFL Prediction From Vernon Croy:
Take ‘Under’ 37.0 Denver at New Orleans (8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17)
Now let's get to your NFL comp play for Thursday, October 17th, 2024, between the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints. This is a Denver team that has converted just 25% of their third downs overall this season and they have averaged just 287 yards per game which ranks 29th in the NFL offensively. Denver has played good overall defensively this season, holding opponents to just 16 points per game against them. Denver was also held to just 16 points in their last game, and I do expect New Orleans to step up defensively here Thursday, especially after allowing Tampa Bay to put up 51 points against them. This is the NFL, and these defensive players do have pride so you can expect them to play much better defensively after being embarrassed at home. This New Orleans defense will look good against this Denver offense. Both teams are also facing several injuries offensively coming into this game. Free NFL Prediction From Griffin Murphy:
Take Jacksonville (-5.5) over New England (9:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 20)
Jacksonville comes into this game after getting pummeled by Chicago in their most recent matchup in London with a final score of 35-16. Jacksonville is now 6-5 when playing in London over the past decade, so the team is comfortable out there. This will be their second consecutive matchup in London, so the team is going to be in a much more comfortable environment as they adapt for this winnable matchup. New England has absolutely no answers on the offensive side of the ball. This team is presently 30th when it comes to total offensive yards per game, 32nd when it comes to passing yards, now sitting with rookie Drake Maye at the QB slot, and they are 26th across 3rd down conversions. New England also has their star running back, Rhamondre Stevenson, listed as questionable in this game, as well as Jabril Peppers, who will be out due to a shoulder injury. Nothing has gone right for New England in the 2024-2025 season, and I do not expect things to turn around for them this week, now having to travel all the way to London and be led by a rookie QB who has taken only 41 pass attempts as an NFL QB. Jacksonville should get it together this week and roll over this struggling, beat-up New England club. Lay the -5.5 with Jacksonville here, as I expect them to put out a massive bounce back game here. Free NFL Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take #476 Tampa Bay (+3.5) over Baltimore (8:15 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21)
This is a tough spot for the Ravens. Baltimore just won a big game over upstart Washington and covered the line in doing so, but that was on their home field. They now have to travel to Tampa to play a Bucs team that is playing with a ton of mojo and believes they can beat anyone. The points here are just too good to pass up. The Bucs had to deal with three Baker Mayfield interceptions last weekend and still dropped 51 points in a blowout win. Tampa Bay already has home wins over Washington and Philadelphia, so matching the Ravens play for play won't be an issue. Take the points on the home dog in this one. It was a solid win with our free play last week with the Vikings. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free NBA Futures Prediction From Jason Sharpe:
Take Detroit Pistons 'Over' 25.5 Wins
There's some much-needed excitement and hope around this year's Detroit Pistons team. One big reason for this is the Pistons hired a new head coach in J.B. Bickerstaff and he feels like a big upgrade over former head man Monty Williams, who appeared uninterested in his short time in Detroit and he also had a hard time connecting to their young roster. The Pistons have a decent young core of players with the trio of Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren, and they look to have added some nice veteran talent this off-season. Play 'over' Detroit's season win total. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here.
