I'm recommending a play on Nebraska in the Pinstripe Bowl. Boston College has covered five straight games, but I'm betting the streak comes to an end on Saturday. A lot of what the Huskers will do in this game is not on game film. BC is bad against the pass and they are one-dimensional on offense. Take ‘Over’ 47.0 N.Y. Jets at Buffalo (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29)

Another free play win last week (Dolphins ‘Over’) and I am now 34-14 (70%) with my last 48 free plays. We have racked up 60 of 86 wins in this space (69%) and I am 105-54 (66%) with my free newsletter plays over the last 159 weeks. I would wait until closer to kickoff to make this play. I think the line is going to come down. There is some light rain in the forecast for this one and that could muck some things up. I don’t think it is going to slow down the offenses, though. And, more importantly, these have been two bad defenses. The Bills are allowing an average of 452 yards per game in their last three outings and the Pats carved them up last week. Buffalo has allowed an average of 26.4 points per game in their last seven games and the only opponent they held below 20 was the 49ers (in a blizzard). The Jets haven’t been any better. They have held exactly two teams below 23 points in their last 10 games and have surrendered 26.8 points per game in their last six. These two teams combined for 37 points in the first half of their first meeting, but then mustered just a pair of field goals in the second half. The ‘over’ is 7-3 in New York’s last 10 games and 8-2 in Buffalo’s last 10 games. I see a shootout here and I don’t see either team being held below 20 points. Philadelphia is 2nd in the NFL on the defensive side when it comes to defending the pass, 1st when it comes to total yards of offense allowed against it, and 5th when it comes to points allowed per game. Dallas is currently 28th against the rush defensively, 29th when it comes to total yards of offense allowed against it, and 30th when it comes to points per game allowed, averaging 26.9 points. I expect Philadelphia to come in and blow Dallas out with a mentality of, this is our division, and we are going to make a bold statement here and clinch the division and beat down a divisional matchup engaging in the clinch. After the Falcons scored 30+ points on the lowly Giants, now they have to face the Commanders and their former coach here, which is fascinating. And, as these Commanders come off a monumental win over the Eagles, do you not see them having a massive let down as well offensively? The 49ers are 5-10 against the spread this season. In six of nine games favored by four points or more this season, the Lions have covered the spread. This season, the 49ers have failed to cover when they are underdogs by four or more points. This Lions team aims to secure the NFC North title and take charge of their own fate. If the Vikings lose to the Packers this week, the Lions will have a chance to capture the NFC North division and be the top playoff seed for playoffs. So, we know the Lions will come into this game with greater importance, regardless of whether the Vikings win or lose on Sunday. They'll play to win in San Francisco. This season, the 49ers are also grappling with injury issues. The Lions are also banged up. However, at this time of year, this is usual for teams. The Lions' offense continues to rank second in the NFL in terms of points per game. This season, the 49ers have had difficulty scoring several points. My main concern in this game is if the 49ers' offense can stay up with the Lions. As previously said, the Lions must win this game and will be prepared to do so. This game has no bearing on the 49ers' season. The 49ers, who have lost five of their last six games, will not be able to compete with the Lions' offense on Monday Night Football.
