I've backed Skubal quite a few times over the last few seasons including his last time on the hill on Sunday and I'm not sure I've ever seen him pitch better than he did in that contest as the 27-year-old left-hander posted a career high 13 strikeouts in the game and he also did it without giving up a single walk either. Skubal will face off here against a very good Los Angeles Dodgers team in this one but the Dodgers haven't been anything special of late going just 22-19 in their last 41 games and costing their backers more than 11 units overall during this time. While on the other side of things the Tigers are playing some of their best baseball this season of late. They've made a ton of personnel changes on offense over the last few weeks and with that seem to be improved posting the 7th best team OPS (and 85 points higher overall) since June 29th.
