Big game here Big 12 conference action. I think this TCU team is a better than most realize. The Horned Frogs started off the year with a 6-3 record overall in conference play but then they lost one of their best players in Mike Miles to an injury early in their January 28th game. TCU lost that game when Miles went down and then proceeded to drop 4 of their next 5 games without him on the floor. Miles is back now and healthy, and TCU is obviously a much better team with him playing. The Horned Frogs behind Miles 13 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals beat this Kansas State team earlier this season, but they were without him in their next meeting and they lost that game to KSU. The Wildcats were a bit of a surprise during the Big 12 regular season, going 11-7 in conference play after they were projected by many experts as the worst team in their league before the year. I feel like this Kansas State team caught their share of breaks this season, as their five best players only missed a combined one game, and they went 8-2 overall in 'close' games decided by 6 points or less or in overtime. While on the other side of things, that wasn't the case for TCU as their top three players missed a combined 17 games this year and they also went just 7-7 in their 'close' games.
