ARUN SHIVA is primed and ready for a great football season and has already started off in the green with a 6-3 start in the NFL preseason for +460. Shiva has been researching in preparation for this week’s start to the college football season. On the baseball diamond, Shiva continues to impress in the MLB and in KBO. In MLB, he is on a 5-2, +1,120 run and is a stellar +11,065 for the season. In KBO, The Cowboy is on a 24-16 run for +2250. The WNBA postseason is in full swing now, and Shiva is looking to bring it home with some great selections to add to his current 8-3 run for +2740. Over on the soccer side of books, Shiva continues to give some great selections in several different leagues and has impressed with his selections in the English Premier League (5-0, +1,600). On the golf links, he had another great weekend with a 6-Unit winner and a combined 5-Unit winner this weekend at the BMW Championship and takes a 3-1 run for +950 into the final tournament of the season at the Tour Championship. And finally, over in the MMA, Shiva is on a 12-4 run with his 7-unit selections in the MMA to bring home a profit of +4,655 with those plays. You don’t want to miss his selections this year and definitely want to join him in football as the season ramps up, where he was the No. 1 handicapper last year at Doc’s. Don’t forget to check out his daily YouTube videos for news, picks, and analysis over on the Doc’s Sports YouTube channel.
STRIKE POINT SPORTS nailed their NFL Preseason Game of the Year last week with Pittsburgh winning outright. That locked up their SEVENTH straight winning preseason and bumped their record up to 13-3 (81%) for their career. This week SPS turns its focus to the college football ranks, including a 7-Unit College Football Play on Saturday to kick off the year. “Mr. Saturday” is known for their big-time college football success, and Strike Point Sports has rung up six of eight winning overall football seasons for over +15,000 in profit. SPS has banged the books for five of seven winning college football campaigns, and they are set to do it again this fall!
RAPHAEL ESPARZA is excited that football is here and will have a 5-Unit College Football Play on Saturday. Esparza closed the preseason cashing back-to-back plays and is looking for more this weekend. He is red hot with his MLB service, banking +7,780 since April 28, and he is releasing a 6-Unit MLB Play on Thursday. Friday on the pitch, Esparza will have a 7-Unit Soccer Play and he will have selections all weekend long. Don't forget they are playing football in Canada, and Friday night he will have a 7-Unit CFL Play. Throw in weekend horses, and you know the drill: you pick the sport – he picks the winners!

Free MLB Prediction From Allen Eastman:
Take Houston (-1.5) over Minnesota (8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25)
I will go with the Astros in this one. Houston is 39-14 in its last 53 home games and has dominated in their home stadium. Houston is 92-43 in its last 135 games against teams from the American League Central and they are 27-9 in their last 36 games against a team with a winning record. Luis Garcia is set to start for the Astros. He has won back-to-back starts and he is 7-3 in his last 10 starts. Chris Archer is going to take the ball for Minnesota, and he has lost seven straight starts and eight of his last nine. Archer has a 4.24 ERA on the road this season and will struggle against this strong Houston lineup. Take the Astros to win big. Free MLB Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take N.Y. Yankees (-1.5, -130) over Oakland (9:40 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25)
I am now 29-15 (66%) with my free plays in this space over the last 44 weeks and my goal is to hit over 60 percent for a full year with these free predictions. The Yankees have been a train wreck over the last two months, including a 12-25 slide. However, they may have jarred something loose with their two-game series win over the Mets this week in playoff-atmosphere games. The Yankees had a much needed off day on Wednesday after playing 12 games in 12 days. Now they get a four-game series against an Oakland team that has pretty much given up on life. The A’s are 4-13 in their last 17 games and 15-39 at home. Oakland has also played 13 straight days, but they didn’t get the benefit of an off day on Wednesday. New York will be adding Mike Stanton back into the mix on Thursday, and he could give New York another boost. But the biggest boost of all comes from playing this overmatched opponent, and I expect the Yankees to run their winning streak to at least four games with a W here. Free College Football Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take 'Under' 44.0 Illinois vs. Wyoming (4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27)
College football is back, and we have our first play of the year in this matchup. This game is going to feature a Wyoming team that really isn't very good, versus an Illinois team that will look to run the football and not give away too much of their playbook before playing Indiana next weekend. Wyoming doesn't return much from last year, and they will have to play against an Illinois defense that is solid, one that only gave up 18 points per game over their last nine games last year. This game has the makings of one that could get out of hand, but it will be one that won't be filled with scoring. We hate to say it, but this is one of those games you take and don't watch but check later to see you won. Free MLB Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take Philadelphia over Pittsburgh (6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27)
There wasn’t much of a rivalry between these two Pennsylvania teams earlier in the season as the Phillies swept the Pirates in four games, and I think the result will be the same in this matchup. Noah Syndergaard has not been dominant in his three starts for Philadelphia. However, unlike his previous team in the Angels, his offense came through for him. The Phillies have won all three starts Syndergaard has made, scoring at least 4 runs in each, and I think they are more than capable of doing the same in this contest. Tyler Beede is scheduled to start for Pittsburgh, and he has not been as effective since he has been moved to a starting role. The Pirates are 1-5 in the last 6 appearances Beede has made, and in the 4 games he has pitched in August his ERA is 7.50. Take the Phillies in this one. Free MLB Prediction From Arun Shiva:
Take Cleveland over Seattle (10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 26)
Shane Bieber surrendered his lone earned run on a sixth-inning RBI double from first baseman Jose Abreu vs the White Sox last Sunday. The 27-year-old had recorded four straight wins entering this contest and boasts a 1.62 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 33.1 innings over his last five starts. Furthermore, the righty has turned in five straight quality starts. Seattle is still in the thick of the playoff race and will put forth a good effort here, but we like the Guardians to show up behind Bieber and get it done. Guardians are 6-1 in their last 7 road games as we write this on Monday. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free MLB Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take Seattle over Cleveland (10 p.m., Saturday, August 27)
The Guardians have been playing much better of late, but Seattle knows they have to win these games to make it to the playoffs. They'll win this on going away and better talent away. Watch the Mariners the rest of the year - they're a force to be reckoned with. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports weekend card, featuring our first college football selections of the season. Free NFL Prediction From Raphael Esparza:
Take Pittsburgh (-4.5) over Detroit (4:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28)
Sunday late afternoon the Pittsburgh Steelers will host their last Preseason game at home, and I say hurry up and get this -4.5 because this number will probably move by kickoff. Again, I see all quarterbacks of Pittsburgh continue to have good preseason games. And if rookie QB Kenny Pickett plays like he did last week on the road in Jacksonville, he will beat the Lions non-starters 'D' and the Steel Curtain win again. Detroit will have their hands full against the Steelers offense and hard hitting 'D', and again this number will close around -5 or higher. Free NFL Futures Prediction From Doug Upstone:
New Orleans Saints ‘Over’ 8.5 Season Wins
For New Orleans to return to the postseason, Jameis Winston has to play virtually every game. That seems almost hard to say given his past with Tampa Bay. However, he learned under Sean Payton to trust what you see, be patient and don't force 50-50 passes into negative situations. Alvin Kamara looks like he won't be suspended, wide receiver Mike Thomas is back, and rookie WR Chris Olave is a big play waiting to happen. Defensively, New Orleans was 7th overall and 4th in scoring defense but needs more big stops late in games versus quality opponents. If Winston stays healthy, this is a 10–11-win club. Free College Futures Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take South Florida ‘Over’ 4.5 Wins (+100)
I think that Jeff Scott and the Bulls are going to take a big step up this season after going 3-18 straight up the last two years. In a way, rebuilding during the last two years – with COVID and all kinds of roster craziness – was a bit of a gift for Scott. Expectations and attention were both excessively low. And now that things are back to normal in the sport, Scott is ready to field his first competitive team in Tampa. The Bulls have 18 starters back from last year, including 10 three-year starters, and they have one of the most experienced rosters in the league. They only went 2-10 SU last year, but this team was a lot more competitive than the record suggests. They played four games against Top 20 opponents (Florida, at BYU, Houston, and Cincinnati), and they easily covered the spread in all four games. The average spread was USF +22, and the average margin of defeat was just over 14 points per game, including a seven-point loss at BYU. USF went 7-5 against the spread last season, and I think they will be a potential moneymaker again this year. The Bulls landed transfer quarterback Gerry Bohanon, who led Baylor to 10 wins and a spot in the Big 12 Championship game last year. That is a massive upgrade over the inexperienced arms that Scott was trotting out last season. South Florida’s schedule does them absolutely no favors. However, they have winnable home games against Howard, East Carolina, Tulane, and SMU. Temple is the weakest team in the AAC, and they are on USF’s slate as well. I see four wins out of that list of five games. That means all it will take is one upset to get over this bar. I like the upside of this veteran team, and I think they will threaten bowl eligibility. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Existing clients call or email today and we will give you a discount on premium package. Free NFL Futures Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Dallas Cowboys ‘Under’ 10.5 Wins (-130)
The Cowboys lived a charmed life last year. It’s not going to happen for them again this year. In fact, I think it is going to be a bumpy ride for The Boys, and I think that this season is going to lead to Mike McCarthy’s ouster. Offensively, this team is rotting away. Their receiver room has been decimated by injuries and defections. And if anything happens to CeeDee Lamb, then this team is out of playmakers in the passing game. The core strength of this squad over the last decade has been a dominating offensive line. The Cowboys no longer have that. Their line is still solid, but not Top 5 in the league and depth is a concern. Defensively, the Cowboys should be very good. Their linebackers are excellent, and their secondary has improved each of the last few years. However, much like on offense with Lamb, the defense is almost solely relying on Micah Parson’s staying healthy. If he doesn’t, things can go sideways quickly. I don’t like banking on teams that are that overreliant on so few players. Especially guys that are in just their second and third seasons. Further, the Cowboys posted a plus-14 turnover differential last year. I don’t see them being in that stratosphere again. Those turnovers helped them post offensive and defensive yards per point that now fall in a range that screams regression. On top of that, the 20-year trend of half the teams that made the playoffs one year failing to do so the next year has me thinking that Dallas is one of those squads that is going to flop. I think that all three teams in the NFC East have improved, and I think Philadelphia is going to be the top dog in this group. Add it all together and I see the Cowboys a lot closer to 9-8 than I do 11-6. This is an easy ‘under’ call. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Existing clients call or email today and we will give you a discount on premium package. Free NFL Futures Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Philadelphia Eagles To Win NFC East (+180)
This line is an absolute gift. Get on it now. I love everything about this Eagles team this year. That’s not me buying into the offseason hype. Honestly, with all the drama surrounding a lot of other teams, I think that Philadelphia’s big offseason has actually flown under the radar. Last year, once they made the decision to become a run-based offense, they really took off. They were No. 2 in the NFL (behind the No. 1 AFC seeded Titans) in rushing attempts. The other top rushing teams – the Ravens, Saints, 49ers, and Colts – were also forces to be reckoned with. And with Philly’s entire offensive line back, I expect them to once again be one of the top teams in the league on the ground. I think Jalen Hurts will be even better now that he’s gotten some experience. And the receiving corps, bolstered by the addition of beastly A.J. Brown, is now as good as any in the East. Defensively, this team is stacked with experienced, proven guys. The secondary is loaded. The front seven is stout. And as I look at this team, I just don’t see a weakness. One of the major reasons I like the Eagles is their schedule. This slate is tailor-made for the Eagles, and I will be stunned if they don’t win at least 10 games. I can’t say that about anyone else in the NFC East. The Giants are still a mess. The Commanders are a joke. And the Cowboys are primed for a major regression this season after living a charmed life in 2021. I think the Eagles are the most balanced team in the league. They aren’t rebuilding. They were a playoff team that very clearly improved in the offseason. I like Philly to win this division by at least two games and be a major player in January.
