The Duke Blue Devils come into this game with a 6-3 record on the year, and overall they are a lot better than most expected them to be coming into this season. It turned out that Michigan was not, and they rolled Rutgers and covered the spread. Much the same thing could happen this week as Jim Harbaugh’s squad has Illinois and Ohio State on tap. Nebraska has generally played better under its interim coach but is still losing, now up to three in a row on its current streak. Michigan will be able to run and pass the Cornhuskers’ defense. A case could be made the Wolverines will just put in a workman effort, but how they beat the number is Nebraska has only gone without a turnover in one contest and they have two or more miscues in seven of their nine games. Expect Michigan to be 10-0 and cover the spread since they are 12-1 ATS when favored by 32 or less at home facing a team that wins less than 40 percent of their games. The Cardinal were blown out 52-14 last week and lost 38-13 the week before that. Stanford’s offensive and defensive lines don’t stand a chance against the bigger, stronger Utes. Utah has dominated this series. They went on the road and beat Stanford 52-7 last season, and Utah is even more intimidating in its own stadium. The Utes are 5-0 ATS in its last five games against the Cardinal and 5-1 ATS at home. Stanford is 8-23 ATS in its last 23 conference games, and they are a dead stick. Utah should roll.
