Take Ohio over Toledo (6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21)

Easy win last week with Illinois dominating Michigan! Right now, these are the two top teams in the Mid-American Conference, and both are playing well enough basketball to have the postseason in their sights. Toledo is led by Preseason conference selections Ryan Rollins and JT Shumate, and has the offensive advantages in scoring, all shooting percentages, and is currently the 13th best rebounding team in the country. However, the Bobcats are no slouch themselves. They lost at Notre Dame and at LSU, and their only road win this season is a weak one at Vanderbilt. Kentucky’s schedule has been a joke. And other than their otherworldly effort last week against Tennessee (68% shooting from the field), this team hasn’t proven that it is Top 10 material. I like Auburn. I will take the points and call for the upset in this one. Tennessee earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC this year. I do not think that they are the best team in the conference. The Titans are one of four franchises to lose its first game as a No. 1 seed twice, doing so in 2001 and 2009. There have been 16 No. 1 seeds that lost their first playoff game since 1990. The Bengals beat the Titans last year at home 31-20, and I think that they can do it again on the road. Tennessee played in one of the weakest divisions in football. Cincinnati won one of the best divisions in football. The Titans may have Derrick Henry back for this game, but I think that his impact is being overrated as he won’t be 100 percent. The Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last five games, and they are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games. Cincinnati is 4-1 ATS in its last five games in Tennessee and 4-0 ATS in its last four games against the Titans. Take the points in this one.
