The Twins will be playing their home opener on Thursday, and I think that they are going to be ready to go against this weak Seattle squad. Jose Berrios will be on the bump for Minnesota, and he looked awesome in his opening start, registering 12 strikeouts in just six innings of work against Milwaukee. I’m expecting more of the same here. He has been outstanding in Target Field, and I expect Berrios to have his A stuff. Seattle will lean on Marco Gonzalez, and he got off to a rough start, allowing three home runs against the Giants. Minnesota wore out lefties in 2019. They were not good at all against them last year, seeing their batting average as a team drop 70 points. This year they are hitting .304 against lefties, and I think that they will get to Gonzalez. Seattle is just 29-76 in their last 105 games against a team with a winning record, and they are just 7-15 in their last 22 road games. Minnesota is 21-8 in its last 29 home games.
