As per your selection on Norwich to get this win over Burnley, we know that the Canaries are getting relegated, but they have shown some fight on their home soil and we don’t expect them to leave the Premier League without a good showing for their fan base. That’s important for the Canaries as next year they’ll be back in the Championship, and they will need to rely on a solid home fortress to accumulate as many points as possible. Burnley is safe from relegation and has done okay for them since the restart. This is a game where Burnley will have had one less day to rest than Norwich, and we see that playing the difference as they have to travel to play a meaningless game to the grander scheme of things. Take Texas Rangers ‘Under’ 29.5 Wins (-130)

We are less than two weeks away from the return of MLB, and the NBA is right behind it. I have been loving soccer, but I am looking forward to getting back to handicapping baseball and pro basketball. I will have a 7-Unit Soccer Play this weekend, and I nailed 7-Unit Totals last Saturday and on Monday. But if you are looking forward to MLB action returning, here is a solid futures wager to get you started. Texas has finished below .500 for three straight years. Are they any better this year going into a 60-game season? I don’t think so. They do have a beneficial schedule, playing 17 of their first 22 against teams that had losing records last year. But I think that Texas is pretty clearly the fourth-best team in their five-team division, trailing the Astros, A’s and Angels. Texas has to travel the most miles (14,706) of any team, and their strength of schedule actually increased the second-most in baseball when the new, unbalanced schedule was revealed. I don’t think their offense is enough to compensate for a leaky pitching staff, and this is very much a boom or bust squad. Play the ‘under’ here as I can see them end up around 26 or 27 wins.
