SPS was the No. 1 football handicapper at Doc’s Sports last year and is looking forward to doing it again this season. They exploded for a +9,000 football run and have now posted 5 of 6 winning overall years and 7 of 8 winning NFL seasons! Free NFL Futures Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Dallas Cowboys To Win NFC East (-110)
Get signed up for football! I have posted four consecutive overall winning football seasons, and I am looking forward to this fall. No one has been better over the last 10 years, as I have banked an outstanding +37,800 in football profit the last 10 years! As for this pick, I absolutely hate to say it: but the Cowboys are going to be pretty damn good this year. I think they are going to run away with their division, and this wager offers more value than their season win total, which is either at 9.5 (-160) or 10.0 (+100). Either way, you have to lay less juice, and the Cowboys could win this division while winning just nine games. It’s all about value. The biggest move the Cowboys made this offseason was hiring Mike McCarthy. I actually think that McCarthy was a bit underrated as a head coach in Green Bay. He has a career record of 125-77, a Super Bowl championship, and a host of deep playoff runs. Dallas finally cut bait with Jason Garrett, a proven loser from the rotten Wade Phillips coaching tree. McCarthy has brought in a top-tier coaching staff, and I think that we will see a more disciplined Cowboys squad that is better at executing. It is also a tremendous help for the Cowboys that they play in one of the worst divisions in football. The Giants are pathetic and are on their fourth new coaching staff in six years. I think the Redskins are a little undervalued. But they still aren’t very good and certainly aren’t a threat to win the East. So that leaves Philadelphia as Dallas’ primary competition. I’m selling the Eagles this year. They have an old, expensive, overrated, worn out roster. The names look familiar in Philly, but most of their key players are past their primes. Dallas’ young talent is just entering its prime. The Cowboys have the strength and talent to dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. And as long as their pass defense holds up, they could once again post units ranked in the Top 10 in offense and defense like they did last year. The Cowboys lost five games by a touchdown or less last season, and they were massive statistical underachievers. I think things will break their way this year, and I can see this team winning 10 or 11 games and winning the East by at least two games. Look, I hate the Cowboys as much as anyone! But when I see a chance to make some money, I will hop on the bandwagon. Take Dallas to win the East. Free MLB Prediction From Jason Sharpe:
Take Chicago Cubs (-145) over Detroit (7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26)
The Detroit Tigers were the worst team in MLB last year, winning just 47 games overall. They got off to a solid 9-5 start this season but have since dropped 11 of their last 13 games overall. A deeper look at this year's Tigers team shows their early season success likely had more to do with an easy schedule to begin the year as their first 13 games of 2020 were against who are currently below .500 this season. Since then, the Tigers have played 14 straight games against teams with a winning record and are just 3-11 overall. They face off here against a very good Chicago Cubs squad that is currently in 1st place with an 18-10 record on the season. The Tigers hand the baseball to starter Michael Fulmer in this one. Fulmer was the 2016 Rookie of the Year, posting a 3.06 ERA. Fulmer got hurt in 2018 and missed all of last season because of the injury. He's back in 2020, but he doesn't look anything like the pitcher he was before as his velocity is way down while his ERA is way up (9.53 on the year). Tough match-up for Fulmer and the Tigers in this one. Take the Chicago Cubs in this game. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free MLB Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take #961 Minnesota over Detroit (7 p.m., Thursday, August 27)
Minnesota continues to score runs and get good enough defense and pitching, so their record is not a surprise. This team has the look of a contender. And in a shortened season, anything can happen. The Twins have been flirting with contender status in the last two years, but this year may be the year they make some noise in the postseason. Detroit is rebuilding. And while they compete every game, they don’t have the horses. Take the Twinkies in this one. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Existing clients call or email today and we will give you a discount on premium package. Free MLB Prediction From Allen Eastman:
Take San Francisco over Arizona (10 p.m., Friday, August 28)
I am looking at my 8-Unit MLB Game of the Year on Friday. I am excited about this matchup, and I am looking forward to my biggest play of the year. As for this play, I will take the underdog Giants. This team has been a moneymaker this year. They are posted as an underdog nearly every day. They are 14-16, so they have turned that value into a profit. Heading into their series with the Dodgers earlier this week, the Giants had gone on a six-game winning streak. That included a three-game home sweep of Arizona last weekend. San Francisco won that series by outscoring the Diamondbacks 17-4. I think they will get that to carry over into the first game of this series. Heading into their weekday series with the Rockies, the Diamondbacks had lost six straight games, and they are struggling. I like San Francisco to take the opener of this one. Free Soccer Prediction From Arun Shiva:
Take Waasland Beveren (Pk, -120) over OH Leuven (12:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29)
We head over to Belgium for this week’s Newsletter pick as we like the home side Waasland Beveren to pick up their second win of the season over newly promoted side OH Leuven. The hosts are coming off a bad loss on the road at 12th place Zulte-Waregem, losing 4-1. They have not lost two in a row since winning their season opener at now ninth place Kortrijk 3-1. Waasland have already started the 2020-2021 season better then they ended last season, with a win, but they should have been relegated, and we see this side having a resurgence with their safety in the Belgium top flight. The visitors were playing in Belgium’s second division last season, and the start of the new season shows with a loss and two draws. They run out to two 1-1 draws, including a draw against one of Belgium’s top clubs, Genk. This is not surprising from a newly promoted side as they usually fare well against the top teams. But they come off a 3-1 home loss to Sporting Charleroi, and we expect another loss on Saturday. Waasland beat Leuven 2-0 in a friendly last summer and have an overall winning record against the visitors. Free MLB Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take Minnesota (-1.5) over Detroit (6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29)
Detroit surprised a lot of people and teams when they got off to a good start to the season. However, things have not been going well for them recently, and it is only going to get tougher facing Kenta Maeda and the Minnesota Twins. Maeda has been fantastic in his first season with the Twins, going 4-0 over his first 5 starts allowing more than 2 earned runs in just one of those starts. Casey Mize has a bright future, and Tiger fans should be excited for the potential he shows, but he has had a rough go in his first two starts to his career. Mize has allowed 3 earned runs in each start, while not making it out of the 5th inning in either. I think the Twins distance themselves further from the Tigers with a convincing win in this one. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Existing clients call or email today and we will give you a discount on premium package. Free NHL Prediction From Doug Upstone:
Take Vegas over Vancouver (8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29)
This will be Game 4 of this Western Conference semi-final. And for reasons unknown, with plenty of consternation from the other teams playing, this is the only series that has not involved back-to-back contests in this round to this point. In truth, this helps both clubs, but Vegas, in particular, who gets the extra day of rest and has fresher legs for the fast-skating Canucks, which allows them to better utilize their more physical style. Since joining the NHL, the Golden Knights have completely dominated Vancouver, and look for more of the same in this encounter in Edmonton.
