I think that this is way too many yards for the Super Bowl. These two defenses are playing very well right now. I think that San Francisco's defense can dominate this game. And in order for these two teams go over this number, they will likely need to combine for over 800 yards! That's a lot of movement. The Chiefs only allowed 300 yards to the Titans in the AFC Championship Game. They have a strong running game like San Francisco's, and I think that the Chiefs defense will continue to play well like it has in the second half of the season. San Francisco only allowed 350 yards to the Packers. That includes all their garbage time yards. The 49ers only allowed 150 yards to the Vikings! This team is capable of slowing down Kansas City's offense. Both teams are going to run the ball and keep the clock moving, and I don't think they will combine for more than 781 yards. I'm going for another huge Super Bowl, having turned a profit in 11 of 13 Super Sundays. Marshall wants to play fast, but they don't play any defense. That is going to play right into FIU's hands. They like to trap full court and play up-tempo, except they are the much better defensive team. This spread should be around 5.5, but I think that the books are going to short it. Take St. John's over Georgetown (1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2)

On Super Bowl Sunday, the Big East has a matchup whose relevance has come and gone with St. John's hosting Georgetown. Both are near the bottom of the Big East standings, playing in a conference in which there are no nights to pick up an easy win, at least on paper. The Hoyas are only 2-5 SU on the road (3-4 ATS) and a lack of quality defense has them allowing 75.6 PPG away from home. The Red Storm is a solid 10-3 SU and 8-3-1 ATS at home (as of 1/28) and they can exploit Georgetown's defense since they are scoring 79.6 PPG when wearing the home uniforms. With the Johnnies having lost 87-66 to G-Town earlier, they should be primed for a big effort to win and cover.
