Croy is 8-3, +1,670 in college basketball, 24-18, +3,270 in NHL, 26-16, +3,950 in NBA and is 24-14, +3,740 over the last 15 weeks in the NFL. Take Memphis (-4) over Cincinnati (7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16)

It was an easy money winner in this space last week with Wichita State handling Memphis. We rode that into a weekend in which we hit our 8-Unit Top Play Saturday (Georgia Tech) and a 7-Unit follow up Sunday (Colorado). I'm looking to do it again with a 7-Unit College Basketball Play Saturday, and I feel a major surge on the hardwood. Last week we went against the Tigers, but this week I think that they are set to bounce back. Memphis has played all of its biggest games this season on the road. Oregon, N.C. State, Tennessee and Wichita State were all played either on the road or on neutral sites. Now this young Tigers team gets a big game in FedEx Forum, where they play their best basketball and feed off the home crowd. Cincinnati is tough. But they have serious issues. New coach John Brannen and star player Jarron Cumberland don't get along. This team lacks the veteran guard play it has leaned on in the past and they have struggled for most of this season. They've gone 10-6 to start the year, but it is the losses that are bothersome. Losing to Bowling Green, Colgate and Tulane is a red flag. Cincinnati is tough. They will hang around in this game. But I haven't seen them win a game like this on the road and I haven't seen the top end ability from this group like we've seen from them in years past. Memphis has lost seven straight to Cincinnati and they have some pent up revenge. They should get it out in this game. Take 'Under' Miami at Oklahoma City (7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17)

I expect a very low-scoring game between these 2 teams Friday night given the way they match up against each other. Miami has the 24th lowest pace of play in the NBA while Oklahoma City has the 21st lowest pace of play in the NBA. Both of these teams are also very solid defensively with Miami ranked 12th defensively in the NBA and Oklahoma City ranked 10th defensively in the NBA. I expect a very slow pace to this game here Friday night and opponents have shot just 32.7% from beyond the arc against Miami this season, which is 2nd best defensively protecting the perimeter shot in the NBA. Oklahoma City also plays Saturday against Portland, which could play a factor if this game gets out of hand Friday night. The average total score for Miami in their last 5 trips to Oklahoma City is just 190 total points, and I expect a very low-scoring game here Friday night. Connecticut has simply not been good enough to compete so far in the Big East. And this isn't the year to struggle with so many capable teams in the league. There aren't many easy wins. Take Drake over Southern Illinois (4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19)

Home court advantage is a big advantage in the Missouri Valley. Even more than in other leagues. I think that Drake is good enough to get a rare road win here. And there is a lot of value here against a very small line. This is a very good young Drake team. They have one of the best big men in the league in seven-footer Liam Robbins. He should dominate the interior for the Bulldogs. Southern Illinois is a very new team. They have a first-time coach in Bryan Mullins and a lot of new players compared to last year. Southern Illinois has won four straight home games. They haven't won any of those games against a team as good as Drake. The Bulldogs have won in Carbondale each of the past two seasons, and I think that they will get the job done here. Take Drake. Free NFL Football Prediction From Doug Upstone :

Take 'Over' 45.0 Green Bay at San Francisco (6:40 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19)

In the last contest between these two, we ended up at 45 points with a closing total of 48. We are not anticipating Green Bay to score a mere eight points again or are we expecting San Francisco to soar to 37. Aaron Rodgers was much closer to his Hall of Fame form versus Seattle. However, there is no comparison between the Niners defense and the Seahawks. Still, coach Matt LeFleur has shown the ability to assemble strong game plans that work well in the first half and, with adjustments just fair thereafter. Look for LeFleur to try and use a juiced-up 49ers defensive aggression against them to knock them off-kilter. Expect Green Bay to score 17 to 23 points. Packers DC Mike Pettine does not have a superior defense, just one that mostly makes plays at the most opportune time that leads to victories. Nonetheless, Green Bay's defense either plays great early and falters in the second half or the opposite happens. Either way, that leaves the door ajar for Kyle Shanahan's offense to score, and we'll call for them to reach 27 to 31 points and make an OVER call.
