Baseball is back, baby! I’ve posted a profit in Korean baseball while waiting for MLB’s return, and dating back to last year I am on a +12,400 overall baseball run. I posted a profit in MLB in 2019 and have posted three straight winning years (and 6 of 7) on the diamond. Toss in the return of WNBA and NBA, two sports I have had a combined six straight winning years in, and my +15,000 soccer run and I honestly don’t know why you wouldn’t be on board! Let’s get this MLB weekend started with a free play winner. I’m all over Minnesota here. I know that the White Sox have gotten a lot of hype coming into the season. But the Twins are the reigning division champions and they actually improved themselves this offseason, signing Josh Donaldson. No team in the Majors has as much home run pop as the Twins lineup, and I think that they will get their cuts in against Lucas Giolito. Giolito was very solid last year. But the season before that, he had a 6.13 ERA in 32 starts, so he’s no sure thing. I’m a big fan of Jose Berrios. He’s got great stuff, and he’s pitched in big games. He has also absolutely dominated the White Sox, going 11-2 with a 2.40 ERA in his career against them. There is no reason for Minnesota to be the underdog here, so we’ll take a shot at it. Justin Verlander is back from surgery, and he’s won five of six over the Mariners, and his teammates are 7-1 since Sept. 2017. The M’s Marco Gonzales is 0-4 (Seattle 0-6) against the ‘Stros with a bloated 6.69 ERA. Too much offense for Houston makes them a run line play.
