Huge revenge spot here for this Penn State squad as they were thrashed last year against the Michigan Wolverines. This is not only a big game for the Nittany Lions for obvious reasons, but it's magnified with the night time start along with the home "white-out" game, which has historically been a huge motivation for past PSU teams, including the one that thumped this Michigan program in the same scenario back in 2017. The Michigan resume doesn't look very good this year as their loss to Wisconsin was ugly and even their wins have lost their luster. Their victory over what was expected to be a much better Army team is looking worse by the week. They had the worst outcome of the three big teams who beat Middle Tennessee State this year. Last week's showing at Illinois was a big ugly as the Wolverines let a bad Illini team back in that game. Compound this problem with the Wolverines struggles under Jim Harbaugh on the road against good teams, and this matchup doesn't look good for Michigan. Take Penn State minus the points. Nevada is a better team than Colorado State, and Utah State only beat them by 10 points in Logan earlier this season. He did not play all that well against San Jose State last week but should play better in his second start. The underdog has covered the spread in 5 straight games between Nevada and Utah State. The Washington Redskins earned their first victory of the year over winless Miami 17-16. The Redskins continue to have problems scoring at only 15 points a game, which is 30th in the NFL. That is especially true in the first half, where faulty game plans, a lack of execution and talent are a real deterrent. Other than New England, arguably nobody has looked as good as San Francisco. This is particularly true on defense, where their tremendous speed is quite evident, and they are 2nd in the league in points allowed at 12.8 PPG. With this in mind, we have a rare situation on the total, and it reads this way. When a home team like Washington is scoring 14-18 PPG and faces an excellent defensive team (14 or fewer PPG), after scoring seven points or less in the first half of two straight games, the Under is 27-5, 84.4% the last 36 years. I have one of my biggest football weeks of the season going this weekend. I have three NFL 411 System Plays, starting with a 7-Unit NFL 411 Play Thursday. As for this free play, I will take the points in this one. Arizona has won back-to-back games, and they are 4-2 ATS in their six games this year. The Giants are just 2-4 ATS in their last six games. The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last six games in New York, and the road team is 4-1 ATS in this series. The Giants are just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 home games, and they do not have much of a home-field advantage. New York is No. 31 in pass defense this year, and I think that they will struggle against Arizona's passing game. Arizona is No. 9 in total offense, and I think they will win in a shootout. Take #455 Miami (+17) over Buffalo (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20)

Look, underdogs and road teams have been automatic plays this year in the NFL. Both are covering at a 62.6-percent clip, and road underdogs are a ridiculous 42-19 (68.8 percent) so far this season. I know it doesn't make any sense to jump on board with a team that is actively trying to lose games. However, all the value is on the Dolphins in this one. The Bills haven't been this large of a favorite since 1992 - and they lost that game outright! Buffalo could have some rust to knock off after their bye. And I don't know how motivated they are going to be in this game against such a weak opponent. This same Bills team didn't beat the Bengals, Giants or Jets - three of the other worst teams in football - by more than 14 points. And Miami is still motivated to get that first win and avoid the inevitable 0-16 talk that is headed their way. Including the preseason, the Bills are on a 10-1 ATS run. That very un-Buffalo. I don't trust them as this big of a favorite, and I think that Miami will find a way to A) lose but B) lose by fewer than 17 points.
