Take Kansas State 'Over' 5.5 Wins (+115) - College Football Season Wins

We nailed our NFL Top Play of the Preseason last week with ease, with the Raiders and Cardinals playing way, way 'over' the total. It was another overall winning card, and this week I will wrap up another winning NFL Preseason. I will also be releasing my first college football play of the season, and I'm excited about another big year. This fall I'm going for my fourth winning football season in a row, and over the course of the last nine years I have averaged +4,400 profit per football season. Let's keep it rolling. Keep an eye on this Kansas State squad. It was tragic that they didn't make it to a bowl game in Bill Snyder's final season. But I think that they will be a little undervalued coming into this season. New coach Chris Klieman won four FCS national titles in five years at North Dakota State, and his style of play is a great fit in Manhattan. The Wildcats have been perpetually undervalued in college football, and I think this is another chance to cash in. I have them getting wins against Nichols State, Bowling Green and West Virginia at home. I also think they'll be able to get a win over rival Kansas, who is terrible. I have them getting revenge on Iowa State in the season finale, at home, since it was the Cyclones that beat K-State in last year's finale to keep them out of a bowl game. That's five wins. That means that Kansas State has to spring just one upset in their other seven games to clear this bar. They have a stretch of three straight home games in October and could get a win there. And a game at rebuilding Texas Tech in late November should be competitive. Klieman's a winner. And the cupboard isn't exactly bare here. Some NFL head coaches place a big emphasis on winning and playing well in the preseason, and there are others who don't look like they care at all. Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia is in that 2nd group. The Lions under Patricia are 1-5 in the preseason since he took over last season. There's been zero indication he's making an effort to win these preseason games as the Lions are not only are using very vanilla schemes again this year, but they have also sat out many of their veteran starters in the first two games, including starting quarterback Matthew Stafford. What makes this an even bigger deal is the Lions backup QB position is as bad as any teams in the NFL, so the drop-off without Stafford on the field is huge. Patricia stated earlier this week that Stafford may not play again this week, and even if he does play don't look for the Lions to show much of anything in this contest. Take Buffalo in this one. Hendricks has an ERA of 1.98 in his ten starts at home this season, with opponents hitting just .194 against him. Hendricks allowed just one hit over 6.1 innings in his last home start against the very good Oakland Athletics team, and I expect another solid start from him at home here Thursday afternoon. Dylan Cease is scheduled to start for Chicago, and he hasn't been able to build much momentum in 4 starts at home as he is 1-3 with a 5.48 ERA. The White Sox have made some improvements this year, but they still have a ways to go. I think Lynn leads the Rangers to a win in this one.
