College basketball is back, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I have dominated early-season college hoops throughout my gambling career, posting over +63,000 in profit over the last 13 years. I look forward to doing it again this winter. This game is being played in China and should be an interesting matchup between two intriguing teams. Colorado is a squad that has gotten a lot of buzz heading into the year. And I do like them. But this is too many points. Bet this game early because I think that this line is going to come down. Colorado is not the same team outside of its home court. And last year they won just one game against a nonconference opponent rated in the Top 130. They only won two games against Top 100 opponents on the road or neutral sites. Arizona State, on the other hand, beat several good teams, including a 22-point home win over Colorado. The Sun Devils have three starters back from last year's NCAA Tournament team, and I think that they have an edge on the interior in this game. I think that Remy Martin will be able to play even with McKinley Wright. So, this game will come down to ASU's three forwards (White, Lawrence and Cherry) against Tyler Bey. It wouldn't stun me to see ASU win this game, so I will take the points and call for the upset. They have also gone up and over the number in each of their last four games played in the month of November, and they are a lights out 11-2 to the over in their last 13 following a straight up loss. I expect there to be some emphasis on defense as we have always believed the under is indicative of the favorite doing well. The last meeting between these two teams saw the total fly over. However, the two games before that went under with a total of 63.5 and 62.5. You have to think San Jose will bounce back on defense after they gave up 52 to BSU in their last game at home. Prior to that, they had given up only 29 and 27 points. I think Hawaii will be motivated to right the ship after their 3rd quarter melt down at home last week, and San Jose will need to bounce back defensively if they want to stay in this game, hence we like the under. Under is 40-19-2 in Spartans last 61 games after allowing more than 40 points in their previous game. Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.
