Ohio U. had to win their last two games to get a bowl game invitation and did so to finish 6-6. The Bobcats offense was the difference, averaging over 34 points a game and more than 440 YPG this season. Ohio U. played two weak MAC clubs to close the year, but they still put up 118 total points on the road and that is nothing to ignore. In this case, we are looking at favorites of 3.5 to 10 points like the Bobcats, who average 440 or more YPG, against a below average defense (390 to 440 YPG) after 7+ games, after gaining 6.75 or more yards a play in their previous game. Florida has been flaky to start out the season. They have some really good wins cradled around some bad losses. However, I think that they are going to regroup and get off to a solid start here in conference play. The bottom line is that the Gators were one of the most overrated teams in college basketball coming into the season. They have stabilized in the market, though, and I think that they can handle this number. Alabama is still adjusting to new coach Nate Oats. There wasn't much talent left over form the previous regime. And Oats' fast pace doesn't fit with the lack of offensive talent the Crimson Tide have right now. Alabama has only played two other road games and lost both, including a 14-point loss at Rhode Island. Florida is very sound defensively, especially on the perimeter. I think that they will be able to choke off the Alabama offense. UF has dominated this series, winning eight of 10, and it should be more of the same. Alabama has covered six straight games. I had another huge football weekend thanks to my NFL 411 System, which won again with Philadelphia. I am coming back with another 7-Unit NFL 411 System Play on Sunday, and I am going to extend my +8,600 football run. As for this pick, Miami, OH isn't used to playing in bowl games. They are going to be excited for this game, as it is just their third bowl game since 2005. Miami is one of the hottest small conference teams coming into the postseason. They have won six of their last seven games. Four of those six wins came in the role of the underdog, including a win against Central Michigan in the MAC Championship. Lafayette lost a tough game to Appalachian State in the Sun Belt Championship, and they are just 1-3 ATS in their last four games overall. The Cajuns have been a very strong ATS team the past two seasons. That is why this number is so high. They are not two touchdowns better than Miami. The Redhawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four neutral site games and they are 4-1 ATS as an underdog. I will take the points in this game.
