It's year number two under head coach Brad Underwood at Illinois, and the Illini look to be playing some decent basketball right now. I like to back teams in the middle of the season under a 2nd-year head coach as this is usually when we start to see some big improvements from these squads, especially when they are playing well like Illinois has been doing of late. Ohio State is just 2-4 in Big Ten play at home this season. This might be a spot where they are overlooking the Illini also as it's sandwiched between their big road win at Indiana and their next game, which is versus a highly-rated Michigan State squad. Louisiana Tech had dumped three straight games. But all of them have been at home. And it's pretty clear how things go for the Bulldogs; they are undefeated at home this year with 12 straight wins. UTEP is one of the youngest teams in the country - they start three freshmen and a sophomore - and they have pretty much been a wreck on the road all season long.
