This Saturday I am going with my 8-Unit College Basketball Game of the Year! I have gone 10-4 (71%) on my last 14 college basketball plays rated 7.0 or higher and I love this matchup this weekend. Take Alabama (+2.5) over Tennessee (7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10)

That is now back-to-back easy underdog winners in this space the past two weeks with Oakland over Northern Kentucky and then Providence taking down Marquette last Saturday in overtime. We'll go for a third straight underdog winner here with the Crimson Tide. Alabama is a young, talented team. And like most young, talented teams they are flaky and they are up and down. The ups have been great - they beat Auburn, Mississippi State and Oklahoma at home and they blew out Florida on the road last weekend. They play up and down to their level of competition, and they are a different team when they play in Tuscaloosa. I'm a big fan of this Tennessee team. However, it's not tough to recognize that they have had a cupcake schedule over the past month. They have had the easiest schedule in the SEC to this point, and they haven't beaten a tournament-caliber team on the road since before Thanksgiving. There is a lot of value here with the home team catching points, and I like the Crimson Tide to pull the upset. Take 'Over' 5.5 Chicago at Minnesota (8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10)

The Chicago Blackhawks are in last place in the Central Division. It's weird to say, and I'm not sure they are going to be able to climb out of the cellar. Goaltender Corey Crawford went down with a season-ending injury, and that was a much bigger blow to this team that originally thought. Backup goaltenders Jeff Glass and Anton Forsberg have both been subpar, and the defenseman in front of him is showing their age. On Saturday they'll head to Minnesota to take on a surging Wild team. The Minnesota offense is looking better after some early-season struggles due to injuries. This game should feature a lot of premium scoring chances. Take Michigan over Wisconsin (1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11)

Thursday Wisconsin plays Illinois on the road, and it wouldn't shock me to see another Badgers loss. As of Sunday, Feb. 4, the Badgers have dropped five straight and 7 out 8. Michigan has struggled on the road as of late, but the way the Badgers have been playing I see a big road win from Michigan Sunday early afternoon. Michigan will be the favorite in this game -- probably a small favorite --- and if the Badgers offense struggles again to score points I see a Wolverine road win and the Badgers continue to struggle in conference play.
