These two teams just played last weekend. Texas A&M won that one 68-66 in a game that they didn't cover a similar spread. I think they will get the win and the cover in this one. Alabama has lost five straight games. Avery Johnson's young team has been terrible on the road this year. A&M has won three straight games. This team has won seven of their last 10, and this team is working to get into the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies have too much size on the inside for the Crimson Tide. These teams played about a week ago and the Suns held tough at home and led for most of the game but they fell apart late in the fourth and barely missed the cover. The Suns also had two nights off heading into this matchup, and this game is sandwiched between matchups against the Rockets and Spurs for the Thunder, so this is a prime letdown spot. This pick falls into one of my top NBA systems, and the Suns have allowed 113.3 ppg this season, which is the most ppg allowed in the NBA. Opponents have shot 47.1% against the Suns this season, and the Thunder just put up 124 points against them on March 2. The Suns also put up 116 points in that game last Friday against the Thunder, and I fully expect another game with very little defense Thursday night. The Thunder have averaged 107.5 ppg at home this season, and opponents have averaged 110.2 ppg against the Thunder over their last 5 games. Take 'Under' 144.0 Baylor vs. West Virginia (9 p.m., Thursday, March 8)

I am stacking up a HUGE college basketball week for Championship Week. It gets started Wednesday with a 7-Unit College Basketball Play and then peaks on Thursday with my 8-Unit College Basketball Game of the Year. My only other 8-Unit Play was a blowout with Virginia Tech taking down Clemson on Feb. 21. As for this play, I think that the books are going to post this line a bit too high. Baylor relies on a 2-3 zone and one of the slowest paces in the Big 12. West Virginia wants to press and run. But their press is decidedly less effective outside of Morgantown, and I don't think that they will be able to speed up the Bears or get many easy transition baskets. The first two meetings this year were 57-54 and 71-60, so neither final score was even close to where I project this total will open. The Bears offense has been suspect on the road this year, with Baylor averaging just 66 points per game outside of Waco this year in non-OT games. And that includes a 96-point eruption at no-defense Oklahoma. Kick that one out and their average road output is about 63 points per game. I will be surprised if both teams get to 70 points, and I think that this one will tuck 'under' with around 138 total points scored (think 72-66). Free NHL Prediction From Strike Point Sports :

Take Columbus over Detroit (7 p.m., Friday, March 9)

This is exactly the time that we got really hot with our NHL service last season and we are looking to do the same thing here down the stretch and into the NHL postseason. I like this spot for the home team here. Columbus has been a low-scoring team that likes to grind out wins. And that is the type of team that has given Detroit problems all season long. The Red Wings are 2-6 in their last eight games, and they are just 20-43 in their last 63 road games against a team with a winning record. Detroit is also a team that struggles to find the net. And they are not as strong defensively as the Blue Jackets. Detroit is just 13-16 on the road this season, and Columbus is a solid 19-11 at home. The Red Wings have a big home game with Vegas on Thursday, and then they have to turn around and play this game in Columbus on Friday. I don't think that they will be very good in this one here and I think the value will be on the home team. Take the Blue Jackets.
