Yes, this is a high total, but let's face it, both ACC teams can score quickly and give up points quickly. In their last 4 games the WF defense has given up an average of 44 ppg, and the NC State Wolfpack have scored over 40 points in back-to-back games. NC State blew up Florida St last weekend at home, 47-28, and I see the same type of game being played Friday night. In the last 4 meetings between these two schools, 3 of them have gone over and the Wolfpack last 6 games 4 of them hit the over. Wake Forest is 7-1 O/U following a SU loss, and the Wolfpack are 6-2 O/U after scoring 40 points or more in their last game. Take #188 Nebraska (-17.5) over Illinois (Noon, Saturday, Nov. 10)

I'm recommending a play on Nebraska minus the points on Saturday. The Huskers are starting to show signs of progress under first-year HC Scott Frost. Nebraska won 2 straight (albeit one was against Bethune-Cookman) before losing 36-31 in a valiant effort at Ohio State last weekend. There's been little wrong with the Husker offense for most of the season, but the defense had been a mess. We're seeing assignments being covered on the defensive side of the football, and confidence is growing. Nebraska is catching Illinois off their best performance of the season, but we feel that tells us more about Minnesota's current mindset than the Illini's. The Huskers have scored 160 points in their last 4 games combined, and they're a total of 18 points from a 6-3 record. They're the best 2-7 team you'll see. Illinois has allowed 189 points to their last 4 opponents. The Illini will score a few points, likely in the 20s, but we have the Huskers pegged for close to 50. Take California (+5.5) over USC (10:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10)

Great Free Pick with Arizona State over Utah last week in the Pac-12. Another Free Pac-12 Selection Today. Two hated rivals square off in this game as California will look to get back in the win column after coming up short in their last game against a good Washington State team. Prior to that, Cal had beaten Oregon State and Washington, which is impressive considering how down most people are on Cal and how high most people are about Washington. The Cal defense definitely showed up to play that game, holding Washington to just 10 points. A similar performance against USC would go along way in securing a victory and reaching the six-win mark, which marks bowl eligibility. USC, on the other hand, snapped their two-game losing streak, thanks for a 38-21 win against Oregon State. Prior to that, they lost to two good teams in Utah and Arizona State, but we don't believe they are in a good spot here as they are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games, 1-5 ATS vs a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 after allowing more than 280-yards passing in their previous game. Cal, on the other hand, is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 November games, 7-1 ATS in their last 8 after allowing 20 or fewer points in their previous game, 6-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win. The public is all over USC at home in this matchup, but the trends and the spot favor the Golden Bears. It was another 7-Unit NFL 411 win last Sunday along with another 7-Unit College Football win last week! I have been the best college football handicapper in the country this year, and I am 13-2 (87%) on my last 15 college football top plays! I have gone 42-15 (75%) for +$7,700 this year in college football, and I will have another big play this weekend. As for this total, I see another low-scoring game in this one. These are two of the worst offenses in football. The Bills are No. 32 with just 10.7 points per game. This team has not scored over 13 points in a game since mid-September! They have scored just 46 points in their last six games. This team has the No. 3 defense in football, though, and they will play hard. The Jets average just 22 points per game, and they have scored just 33 points in their last three games. The 'under' is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams. The 'under' is 6-1 in Buffalo's last seven games and the 'under' is 8-2 in New York's last 10 divisional games. Take #253 Atlanta (-4) over Cleveland (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11)

This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems, and the Falcons are hands down the superior team here on the road Sunday. The Falcons are coming off a big road win against a Redskins team that is much better than the Browns, and they put up 38 points against them. The Browns are not very good defensively against the pass, and this Falcons offense depends on the pass to move the ball. The Falcons have put up 320 passing yards per game this season while completing 70.8% of their passes, and that was against much better defensives then what the Brown have. The Falcons are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game, and the Browns are just 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game. Play the Falcons ATS as they take care of business before a tough schedule ahead that sees them face the Cowboys, Saints, Ravens and Packers in the coming weeks. Take 'Over' 43.0 Dallas at Philadelphia (8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11)

Last week was another easy money free play winner with Chicago demolishing Buffalo. This week I am looking for another blowout with my 8-Unit NFL Game of the Year. So far this season I have gone 2-0 with my 8-Unit Plays, and I see another ripe opportunity for another major win this weekend. I have gone 58-31 for +$6,000 with my last 89 selections, and I have been one of the hottest football handicappers in the country. I hit on the 'over' with the Cowboys on Monday Night Football, and I think they will go 'over' again here. It actually has less to do with the Cowboys offense, which is actively bad, than it does their defense. The Cowboys front gets a lot of credit because they have some decent pass rushers. But their linebackers are terrible and their secondary is bad. I don't care what the stats say; there is no way that this is one of the Top 5 defenses in the NFL. The Eagles have had two weeks to prep and to get their offense geared up. They haven't been anywhere near what they were last season. But I think that Carson Wentz is going to punish that Cowboys back seven, and I think that they can get to 30 by themselves. Dallas left a ton of points on the field in their game against the Titans, with three red zone opportunities yielding zero points, and I think that they can approach their season average of 19.2 points per game. 30-17, 27-20 or even 24-20 gets it done. Free NHL Hockey Prediction From Doc's Sports :

Take Toronto over New Jersey (7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9)

Much has been made about the Leafs and their perfect 6-0-0 road start, but the reality of the matter is that they haven't been impressive at all at home. They will likely come into this game either 3-6 or 4-5 depending on how they fare at home against Vegas on November 6, and that's just not acceptable in the National Hockey League. You are supposed to protect your home ice, and the Leafs have not done so early this year. However, this is a good spot for them to do so, against a Devils team that is reeling, losers of three out of their last 4 games, perhaps 4 out of their last 5 if they lose on Nov 6 to Ottawa. The Maple Leafs know they need to start bringing the same intensity and sense of urgency to their home game if they want the crowd to get into it and have a winning home record for the season. I like how the team has looked since Auston Matthews went down with a shoulder injury. The top guys are stepping up, and they are even getting contributions from the bottom six forwards. Give me the better team in the better spot in this matchup. Take the Leafs.
