This is a Blazer team that lost to Golden State by 28 points last time out, and after the excitement of Christmas with LeBron and company it's hard to see the Warriors getting up for this game. This sets up nicely for a big effort here for Portland coming off the ugly loss to Golden State back on November 23 (about a month ago), and this is the same Blazer team that went into LA and beat the Clippers outright and beat Toronto by 6 points. Free College Football Prediction From Jason Sharpe:
Take #242 Purdue (+3.5) over Auburn (1:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28)
This is the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. There's a lot to be excited about for this up-and-coming Purdue Boilermakers program. Their head coach, Jeff Brohm, recently turned down his alma matter head coaching job at Louisville, and that should make all those associated with Purdue very excited about the future. The Boilermakers under Brohm have been dynamite in the underdog role, going 8-2 against the spread and even winning 5 of those contests straight up. This is a team that despite being just 6-6 overall on the season was in all but one of those games, losing by four points or less in 4 of those 6 defeats. Brohm is also a perfect 3-0 in his career in bowl games as a head coach. Auburn was a major disappointment this year and they have gone just 7-7 overall their last 14 games and are just 1-4 in bowl games under Gus Malzahn. You have to wonder the excitement level for the Tigers coming into this one considering they had such high expectations before this season. Take Purdue plus the points here.

Take ‘Over’ San Antonio at Denver (9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28)
We pulled off a 4-0, +1900 sweep on Christmas Day and now we are looking forward to another big weekend on the gridiron and the hardwood. These two teams play on Wednesday, and this is the second game in a back-to-back between them. The last three games between the Nuggets and Spurs have gone ‘over,’ and the over is 6-2 in the last eight games in this series. Denver is always better at home and the Spurs are No. 9 in the NBA in road scoring, averaging 111 points per game away from home. The Spurs have been lighting it up over the last three weeks. In their last 10 games they are averaging 116 points per game and they have scored over 120 points five times in their last nine games. The Nuggets scored 126 in their last home game. The ‘over’ is 4-1 when the Spurs play a team that is above .500 and the ‘over’ is 6-2 when the Nuggets play a team that is above .500. Free College Basketball Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take #614 Louisville (+1) over Kentucky (2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29)
This is a monster nonconference game for two for the best basketball programs in the country. And fortunately for Louisville, which is in the midst of a clear rebuilding season, they get this game at home. The host has won three straight in this series and seven of the last nine. The Cardinals also have revenge for taking one of the worst beatings in the history of this rivalry last year, losing by nearly 30 points at Kentucky. The Wildcats could have a letdown after their big win over North Carolina in Chicago last week. And after a 4-1 ATS run, I think that the Wildcats are going to come back to earth a little bit. They have played a really weak schedule, and that UNC win was really the only thing of note that they have accomplished to this point. Louisville beat Michigan State, and they have played tight games with Tennessee, Marquette and Indiana. This is Kentucky’s first road game of the season. They are one of the most inexperienced teams in the nation, and this is the first time they are going to have to deal with a hostile crowd. I think Louisville will play above their heads, and I think that they could pull the upset in this one. Free NFL Football Prediction From Vernon Croy:
Take #310 Washington (+6.5) over Philadelphia (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30)
The Redskins get to play spoiler here and they are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games when playing against a team that has a winning record. The Redskins are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 home games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games after a loss. Even though the Redskins are not mathematically eliminated, they will need losses by at least Minnesota and Seattle on Sunday and obviously a win against the Eagles. The Eagles are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games after covering the spread in their previous game, and the Eagles are just 0-4 ATS in their last four games after allowing more than 350 total yards in the previous game. Take #262 Oregon (-2.5) over Michigan State (3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 31)
It was another huge weekend for my NFL service behind the NFL 411 System, as the Ravens (6-Unit Play) and Bears (7-Unit Play) both came through in a big way. I also hit a 4-Unit moneyline play on Baltimore (+190) to help my clients to a huge weekend. I plan on doing it again this week, and I will have a 6-Unit College Football Bowl Play Friday and a 7-Unit NFL Play on Sunday. As for this free play, I like the Ducks. This line opened at 1.5 and has been bet up to 2.5. That tells me where the sharp money is coming in. Oregon is 4-0 ATS in this series, including easy ATS wins in 2014 and 2015. Michigan State does not have any momentum coming into this bowl game. They have gone 0-3 ATS in their last three games, and their only win over those games was a 14-10 win over Rutgers. Oregon has won back-to-back games and they are 3-1 SU in their last four. The Spartans are just 2-7 ATS in their last nine games against teams from the Pac-12 and just 1-4 ATS in their last five nonconference games. I look for a big day out of Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert, and I like the Ducks to get the win here.
