Allen Eastman continues to churn out profit in both college and pro basketball and right now he is picking up some serious steam in both sports. Eastman has banked over +$7,000 in college basketball profit over the last 12 months, and this was exactly the time of the year that he caught fire in 2016. Alan Harris has just one big play on tap this week, but it's a really big one as he's releasing his 8-Unit College Basketball Game of the Year on Saturday. Alan nailed his GOY last season with Iowa St (-5) over Texas on 2/13/16 and he followed that up with a NCAA Tournament GOTY winner with Oregon (-3) over Duke on 3/24/16. Harris was also lights out once conference tournament time came around as he went on an impressive $10,640 run from March 6 ^th through the 2016 championship game and he sees no reason why the same type of run can't happen this year. He is currently on a +$2,470 CBB run and he's planning on adding to that number in a big way this weekend while moving full steam ahead into March. Esparza is on a 4-1, +$1,100 run and last year wrapped up his fifth straight winning season by banking +$12,000. Take Charlotte (-4.5) over Western Kentucky (7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9)
I am going with my 8-Unit College Basketball Game of the Year on Saturday and you do not want to miss this play! I have hit over 62 percent of my top plays (28-17) and last year this is the time when I caught fire and banked over +$6,000 down the stretch. I plan on doing the same thing this year. As for this play, I will go with the home team. It has been a rocky ride for Mark Price in his second year in Charlotte. But he has some good young guards. Charlotte lost to Western Kentucky in the first meeting, dropping a two-point heartbreaker. That won't be the case here. Charlotte has only played two home games over the last month (compared to five road games). They have struggled on the road but been solid at home. Price's team is one of the top 3-point and free throw shooting teams in the league. And they are at their best at home. Take 'Under' 227.0 Houston at New Orleans (8 p.m., Thursday, Feb.23)
I expect a high total for this game and I think that the public is going to be all on the 'over' now that the Pelicans made the first major trade of the season. But it is going to take some time for DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis to learn how to play together. And the Pelicans just got rid of several of their best guards, so they need to work things around there as well. The last two meetings, including the first meeting this season, have gone 'under' and the 'under' is 7-3 in the last 10 between these two teams. That has been the trend throughout this series. The 'under' is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in New Orleans and the 'under' is 24-9 in the last 33 meetings between these clubs. I see that continuing with a lower-scoring game than people think. Take Golden State over L.A. Clippers (10:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23)
Doc's Sports NBA is on a 17-9 run for 7-Unit plays and we will have a 7-Unit play on Thursday as the NBA opens back up play for the second half of the season. The Warriors own this series. They have won nine straight in the series (they have covered in five of six) and they seem to take a perverse pleasure in making the Clippers look bad. They know exactly how to expose their weaknesses and how to push their buttons. And the Clips really have no answer for these guys. This team is thought of as the only team to be able to challenge the Warriors in the playoffs (besides maybe the Spurs), but that is complete BS as that series would be a 4-0 sweep. These teams hate each other but the Warriors are the ones that have the superior talent and the better coaching and also they play as a team. And they always take this matchup seriously, and when they are at their best they are very hard to beat. We are likely to get a decent line for the Warriors here since LA won four straight entering the break and because the last two lines between these teams seem to indicate the bookies think LA is "due", but the Clippers have a better matchup coming up next against the Spurs, a team that have a better chance against and have had much more success against recently.

Take #877 Dayton over Davidson (9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24)
The Flyers sit atop the standings in the Atlantic 10 and should enter this game with a 13-2 conference record. They have VCU on deck but if they want to win the conference outright this is a game they cannot look past. Dayton will enter this game having won seven straight and have great balance and can beat teams in a variety of way. The Wildcats have struggled to find their footing since joining the Atlantic 10 and this is a major step up in class for them compared to the Southern Conference. Free NBA Prediction From Indian Cowboy :
Take 'Over' Brooklyn vs. Denver (9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24)
There will be a lot of scoring here as note that the Nets are one of the better offensive teams in the league, which will surprise you. This is a team that is ranked 16th in the league in offense and 30th in the league in defense. This is a squad that beat Denver 116-111 at home in December earlier this year and the Nuggets will definitely want revenge. Remember, this is the same Nets team that dropped 125 points on Milwaukee, so given their offense and given that the Nuggets want revenge, it should yield an 'Over'. Note, the Nuggets have the 4th best offense, were held to less than 100 points in their last game against the Timberwolves and this was after scoring 132 points against the Warriors at home in a blowout win. Let's roll with the Over here as both teams have strong motivation for a great offensive output on Friday night.

Take 'Under' 5.0 Anaheim at Los Angeles (4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25)
Don't expect many premium scoring chances on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles when the Kings host the Ducks. Both teams are patient with the puck and neither gives away odd man breaks the other way very often. These are just two fundamentally sound teams, so this might not be the most exciting game to watch. However, when you're on the UNDER that's exactly what you're looking for. These teams played last week and the Kings won 1-0 in game that only had a total of 53 shots on goal. We expect more of the same on Saturday, so we'll take the UNDER for our Free Play selection. Take Louisville (-12.5) over Syracuse (2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 26)
Syracuse's hopes of an NCAA Tournament berth are essentially finished. They absolutely need to beat Duke on Wednesday to even have a prayer. If the Orange do win that game against the Blue Devils then they will be in a letdown spot here on the road. If the Orange lose that game to Duke then they will have lost four games in a row and their karma and morale will be completely shot. Syracuse never plays well against Louisville and has gotten wrecked down in Kentucky on more than one occasion. Louisville is way too big and way too athletic for the Orange to handle. Syracuse has been horrendous on the road this year and has made a habit of falling down double-digits in just about every game. They have been able to pull off some wild comebacks. But not this time. Take Russell Westbrook (+160) To Win NBA MVP
Russell Westbrook is doing something to the league that we haven't seen done since done since the 1961/62 season as he looks to average a triple double for the entire year while joining the great Oscar Robertson as the only two players ever to do so. In fact, we're kind of surprised that Westbrook isn't the favorite here with the numbers he's been putting up but the oddsmakers have made James Harden, who is having a ridiculous year in his own right, as the -130 favorite. We knew the Thunder were going to drop in the standings once Kevin Durant left for Golden St, but the fact that Westbrook has the Thunder in a playoff spot is more impressive to us that what Harden has done in leading the Rockets to a 40-18 record at the All-Star Break. Take a look at what both guys have to work with and you'll be in agreement that Westbrook has done more with less even though the Thunder only have 32 wins. Harden is surrounded by shooters, including Eric Gordon, who is probably going to be the sixth man of the year. He gets a ton of assists because the shooters knock down their shots. Yes, they still need to make these shots to get him on the stat sheet but the fact that they are talented enough to do that speaks volumes on the talent level of the two teams. If Westbrook isn't putting his teammates in a perfect spot to score, he's not getting the assist. Throw in the fact that Westbrook is averaging more points and rebounds compared to Harden who only has him in assists and we'll take Russ at the plus money price with the thought that if he averages a triple double and gets the Thunder to the playoffs, the award is his.
