Take - "Over 9.5 Cincinnati at Cleveland (6 p.m., Thursday, May 25)
I've been flat-out getting the job done on the diamond and have banked +$6,500 over the last month with my MLB service. I am focused on having a monster summer and I am not going to slow down at all. In this free play I'm simply betting against two bad pitchers. This is the final game of a four-game rivalry series and I think both lineups will be ready to cut loose. Tim Adleman has been awful for the Reds, posting a 6.19 ERA on the season and giving up 13 runs in his last 11 innings of work. In fact, he has allowed 21 runs in his last 22 innings of work over his last five starts and the "over' is 6-3 in his last nine. Mike Clevinger is coming off a rare great start, allowing just two hits in seven shutout innings at Houston. Clevinger has been an on-again, off-again starter, though, and I don't expect any type of consistency from him. The "over" has hit in six of seven games between these two and the "over" is 20-8 in Cincinnati's last 28 games overall. They've been playing "over" all season long, and I can see one of these lineups blowing up for seven or more runs in this series finale. I am having a successful MLB season to this point. I am planning on continuing that this week and it should not be a surprise. On Thursday I like a low-scoring game in Houston. Justin Verlander is on the mound for the Tigers. After a great start his ERA is up to 4.39. He is a much better pitcher than that. Verlander has four of five quality starts. But I think he is primed for a dominating effort here. Mike Fiers has just a 3.50 ERA at home on the season. He has been much better at home than on the road. Three of his last five games have gone "under". The "under" is 4-0 in Detroit's last four road games and the "under" is 7-3 in their last 10 games overall. The "under" is also 4-1 in Houston's last five home games, and I see a tough game between two of the top teams in the American League. This one will be 4-1 and I see this one going "under". Take Houston over Detroit (8 p.m., Thursday, May 25)
We like the Houston Astros at home against the visiting Detroit Tigers. This is a Houston team that has been on a tear after a slow start last year and you can tell they have been motivated from the opening pitch. One person that has not particularly done well for this team even though the team has been phenomenal is Mike Fiers. Fiers is 1-2 with a 5.14 era thus far and this is a far cry for a pitcher who was 11-8 with a 4.48 era last year and a 3.89 era the year before in Milwaukee and 3.32 and 2.13 era the years before that. Fiers has pitched better of late in giving up just 4 hits at New York against a red-hot Yankee team in 5.2 innings and only 1 earned run in 6 innings against the defending AL Champs in Cleveland. We like Fiers to keep pitching well but to pick up the win this time around against a Astros team that faces Verlander off a big Texas win but likely in for a classic let down against a Houston team that will get up to face him. We like Houston 6-4 on Thursday Night.

Listed Pitchers: Tex: N. Martnez (1-2, 4.33 ERA) Bos: D. Pomeranz (3-3, 4.97 ERA). The Red Sox have hit .373 as a team lifetime against Martinez with an OBP of .458, and a slugging percentage of .686. Martinez has also struggled on the road this season with an ERA of 5.51, and opponents hitting .304 against him. Martinez was lit up in his only start at Fenway last season, lasting just 4.1 innings while giving up 11 hits and 6 earned runs. The Rangers have hit .288 as a team lifetime against Pomeranz with an OBP of .333 and he has struggled during the month of May with an ERA of 6.06 over 4 starts (16.1 innings) with opponents hitting .308 against him. He has been tough on opponents on the road as he is 3-2 with a 2.06 ERA over 5 starts. Miguel Gonzalez got off to a good start to his season but he has struggled mightily as of late. Take "Over" 9.0 Detroit at Chicago White Sox (2 p.m., Saturday, May 27)
The Detroit Tigers had a dangerous lineup before J.D. Martinez came off of the disabled list a couple of weeks ago. Martinez has been putting up out-of-this-world numbers since returning. Despite missing over a month, he's second on the team in home runs and is batting well over the .300 level. The White Sox offense has also surprisingly been producing at a decent clip, especially lately. They've been beating up plenty of starting pitchers over the last couple of weeks, including a 16-run effort versus the Mariners a few days ago. The ball can really fly out of Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, so I expect this to be a slugfest on Saturday. Take the OVER in our Saturday Free Play selection. Take David Allen (-275) over Lenroy Thomas (4 p.m., Saturday, May 27)
Offshore books like 5dimes, Bookmaker, and BetCRIS all have lined this fight and this fight will be entertaining. Since David Allen lost to Luiz Ortiz in December 2016 he has come back with a vengeance. He has won back-to-back fights by KO and I'm not sold on the chin of Lenroy Thomas. Thomas has been KO'd three out of his last 7 fights and if you can establish the jab on him early you will be able to KO him in the late rounds. Look for David Allen to attack the body early and that will open up the right cross and I see David Allen putting down Lenroy Thomas between rounds 7 through 9.
