Free Picks for Tuesday NIT Matchups
by Joey House - 3/19/2024
There are currently 362 NCAA Division I teams in the country, so for every favorite or Cinderella who attends the "Big Dance", there are over 5 potential fairy tales whose slippers didn't fit quite right or their nasty aunt didn't let them out of the conference. However, for 32 other teams, there is a consolation prize in the form of the NIT.
Expert College Basketball Handicapping Roundup 3/15/2024
by Ryan Cobbett - 3/15/2024
The final Friday Roundup for the College Basketball season is upon us. Champ Week has already been extremely chaotic, and we still have a packed weekend ahead of us to determine the bracket. Creighton, Duke, and BYU were all upended in their conference tournaments, while teams like South Carolina, Arizona, and North Carolina haven’t even blinked. No more introduction needed, let’s get into the madness.
2024 Pac-12 Tournament Predictions with Betting Odds and Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/13/2024
This is The End. The Pac-12 has been crushed under the cold, cruel weight of The Market and is preparing to be ripped to shreds by the claws of Capitalism. A year from now, this league will no longer exist, with shards being absorbed by the Big 12 and Big Ten. Meaning that this will be the final Pac-12 Tournament ever.
2024 Mountain West Tournament Predictions with Betting Odds and Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/13/2024
That’s right, boys and girls, it is that time of the year again. Time to play one of my favorite games: “How Badly Is The Mountain West Gonna Get Screwed?”. It is an annual rite of passage for the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee to absolutely screw the Mountain West and short them the at-large bids that they deserve. It happens every year. The only question is just how egregiously the selection committee will screw the Mountain West in favor of sending mediocre teams from marquee conferences to The Big Dance.
NCAA Tournament Field Predictions: Yes or No Betting Odds
by Mike Allen - 3/12/2024
Conference tournaments are already kicking off this week, and you know what that means. March Madness is upon us. Selection Sunday is just days away. We will likely use the word "Bubble" more in the next few weeks than we do for the remainder of the year. The NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament field has mostly been set. We will know in a few days about some of the smaller conferences' winners who will get automatic Tournament berths.
2024 Atlantic-10 Tournament Predictions with Betting Odds and Picks
by Ryan Cobbett - 3/11/2024
The Atlantic-10 Conference Tournament will begin on March 12 in Barclay’s Center. The A-10 could potentially get two teams selected on Selection Sunday, if the conference winner is not the Dayton Flyers. In the latest Bracketology update, both the Flyers and the Richmond Spiders are projected to make the tournament, with the Spiders holding the automatic qualifier. One team not getting talked about enough is the Ramblers from Loyola Chicago, who finished the season going 17-3 in their final 20 games and split the regular season title with the Spiders.
2024 Conference USA Tournament Predictions with Betting Odds and Picks
by Ryan Cobbett - 3/11/2024
Conference-USA is another weak basketball conference that gets their one shot at the tournament through their conference champion. The conference went a combined 0-16 against Quad1 opposition this season and 5-19 against Quad2 opponents. Louisiana Tech is the highest ranked C-USA team in the NET rankings at 92, and they didn’t even claim the regular season title. Sam Houston won the regular season title, going 13-3 in the conference and 20-11 overall.
2024 MAC Tournament Predictions with Betting Odds and Picks
by Ryan Cobbett - 3/11/2024
Champion Week is upon us, with the regular season wrapping up over the weekend. Some conferences have already begun their conference tournaments, but the majority and major tournaments will tip off mid-week. The Mid-American Conference begins their tournament on Thursday and will feature the conference’s top eight squads. Though everybody loves some MACtion in the fall, basketball is not the conference’s strong suit. The conference went a combined 0-24 against Quad1 opponents this season, and their 6-28 record against Quad2 opponents wasn’t much better. With that being said, the only member of this conference to make the tournament is going to be the conference winner. Let’s take a look at who gets a shot at the conference tournament title.
Final Four Bracket Predictions and National Championship Odds
by Joey House - 3/28/2023
And then there were four. Now that the smoke has cleared, and the dust has settled, we have the 2023 Final Four set. Once again, Warren Buffet escaped with his billion dollars safe in his challenge for someone to pick a perfect bracket. The sum of the Final Four seeds is 5+9+5+4, which equals 23. This is the second-highest total ever, after the 2011 Final Four of the Underdogs that featured these seeds: 3,4,8,11.
Elite Eight Bracket Predictions with National Championship Odds
by Joey House - 3/24/2023
One of the greatest things about March Madness is that just when you thought you saw it all, something new happens. The 2023 NCAA Tournament will mark the first time ever that a No. 1 seed will not be playing in the Elite Eight. After a wild second day of the Sweet 16, the entire field is set to see who will earn the right to head to the 2023 Final Four in Houston.

The Sweet 16 has everything – from Cinderella stories to Top 3 seeds attempting to fulfill their destinies. While the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight don’t bring the excitement of the opening rounds, these tend to be some of the best games. We will offer some Sweet 16 bracket predictions.

NCAA Tournament Betting Trends: Teams to Avoid
by Russell Laribee - 3/14/2023
The NCAA Tournament is not so much unlike any other major sports betting event. The betting windows get crowded by square sports bettors that don’t understand the tourney. Sports betting is contrarian by nature. That is created by the upside-down nature of the sports betting world. What seems obvious is often the inverse of those opinions. Here is a look at what the bettor may see as an advantage, that ends in disappointment, because what looks obvious isn’t.
March Madness Handicapping Advice: Age of Coach a Factor

Selection Sunday has named the field for the 2022-23 NCAA Tournament. There will be all sorts of upset predictions, as well as which team will run the table and be crowned NCAA Basketball Champions. It is certain you will hear about players, and you will hear about teams, and you will hear about coaches. What you probably won’t hear anything about is the coaches’ age.

We are finally here, the Final Four of March Madness! Come Saturday, No. 1 Kansas will take on No. 2 Villanova, and No. 2 Duke will take on No. 8 UNC. The craziest part of the Duke and UNC matchup is this will be the first time in tournament history these rivals face one another. Sweet 16 Free Betting Picks
by Devon Rymarchuk - 3/24/2022
As we approach the Sweet 16, it is safe to say we are gaining a grasp of which teams have momentum and which have snuck their way through to Sweet 16 play. Two No. 2 seeds have been eliminated in Kentucky and Auburn, which has opened the field to lower seeds to make a run at the Final Four. The first two rounds are also a great indicator as to what teams have been under seeded and which teams offers bettors a ton of value moving forward. This round will separate the contenders from the pretenders. Below are a few games I like, where I think you can get a lot of value.

The first two rounds of March Madness are in the books, with the tournament bringing the usual amount of drama and excitement. There are 16 teams remaining in this year’s NCAA Tournament, and five of these teams are the 8th seed or lower. Even so, each remaining team has shown they are not to be taken lightly and that they may even be capable of another upset victory.
