In a matchup between the two top teams from Group E, the Netherlands and Canada will battle it out for the more favorable top position on Thursday afternoon. The Netherlands currently sit atop the group thanks to a 1-0 win over New Zealand followed by a dominant 3-0 victory over Cameroon. Canada, which came into the tournament ranked fifth in the world, has yet to give up a goal through its first two games. Key Players for the Netherlands:

Vivianne Miedema - Miedema showed in that game against Cameroon why she is considered one of the top young strikers in the world, scoring two goals and posing a constant threat in front of the net. She now has 60 goals in just 77 appearances for her national side and she will be the player the Netherlands defense fears the most come Thursday afternoon.

Dominique Bloodworth - This will be the game where the young defender gets to show just how good she is. Bloodworth has the size to deal with Canada's threats up front and she has shown that she has offensive skills as well after scoring in the game against Cameroon.

The Netherlands currently sit atop the Group E table, but Canada has arguably been the better all-around team through two games. They've barely given up the ball so far, owning 65 percent of the possession against Cameroon and 760 against New Zealand. They've also been able to take 38 shots through two games, putting 10 of them on goal. If they're able to play that way again in this matchup against the Netherlands, they should pretty easily move up to the top spot in the group and get a more favorable opponent in the knockout stages.

Key Players for Canada:

Jessie Fleming - Fleming has yet to play professionally yet she already has 66 appearances for this Canadian side. The young midfielder scored the opening goal against New Zealand last weekend and should see plenty of the ball in this match against the Netherlands.

Nichelle Prince - Prince is another player on Canada who can line up in different positions and cause trouble for opposing defenses. She has great size and speed, allowing her to create scoring chances for herself and her teammates. Expect Prince to line up as the second striker versus Netherlands like she did when she scored against New Zealand on Saturday.
