On Saturday afternoon, Italy will be going up against the Netherlands in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Women's World Cup. Valentina Giacinti - The AC Milan forward was able to score the first World Cup of her career in that win over China and will once again be counted on in this match against the Netherlands. That goal could have been just what she needed, too, since she is known for scoring in spurts after putting up 212 goals in 21 games during this past domestic season.

Elena Linari - Italy is going to need a near-perfect game from Linari in the middle of its defense. She has played very well in this tournament so far, but she'll be facing some excellent Dutch forwards who are both pacey and strong. If the 25-year-old can stay composed throughout the match and keep her teammates in line, Italy will have a chance to move forward.

The Dutch are coming off of one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament so far in that 2-1 win over Japan, but they'll probably need to play a bit better if they want to beat this Italian side. They did have a good amount of the possession in that game, but they weren't able to put many shots on goal and it was one of their weakest defensive performances in recent months. If they play like they did during the group stages, though, they have a good chance to win this match.

Key Players for the Netherlands:

Lieke Martens - As expected, Martens has been the focal point of the Dutch attack throughout this World Cup. The winger gives opposing defenders headaches with her quick feet and her pinpoint crossing. She scored both goals in the win over Japan last round, her first two in this tournament after scoring four during qualifiers.

Dominique Bloodworth - The 24-year-old defender has been one of the Netherlands' most consistent players so far in this tournament. She has done a great job shutting down opposing attacks and turning defense into offense with quick and accurate passes up the field. Expect more of the same in this match against Italy.
