Poland will play at Kazan Arena when they take on Colombia on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in a Group H matchup. The opening line for this game has Poland at +170 and Colombia at +170. The total has been set at 2.25.

What you'll see in this game are two offenses that can score against anyone and two defenses that are trying their best to prove that they can help their teams make it far in the World Cup. With that being said, this should end up being a high-scoring affair with Columbia coming into the tilt as very slight favorites to win it.

Poland

Poland's strategy against Columbia under head coach Adam Nawalka will be the same as it has been for the last couple of months: confuse them with multiple formations. Their ultimate goal is to get it to star striker Robert Lewandowski early and often, but they have more players who can put the ball in the goal if given a chance. Poland has some good players in its defense, but they're definitely not athletic. That could be a problem in this game against Columbia considering the pace and skill that they have up front. If Poland is going to win this game, they have to remember to help out on defense and have a high-possession strategy.

Arkadiusz Milik

Everyone will be talking about Lewandowski's potential impact going into this matchup, but don't forget about his partner up front. Milik, who is coming off of a couple of terrible injuries over the last couple of years, has been able to score 12 goals in 40 appearances for Poland and will have great chances to score with much of Columbia's focus being on Lewandowski.

Michal Pazdan

Pazdan was excellent in Poland's qualifiers, but the defender made a couple of crucial mistakes in the friendlies leading up to the World Cup. This game against the Columbians is chance for Pazdan to show he's back on form by playing well and keeping that tough attack from getting behind him.

Colombia

If Columbia wants to match or better their march to the quarterfinals four years ago, they will probably have to pick up the win against Poland. Whether they run the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-2-1 formation in this matchup, the goal will be the same: get the ball to their superstars as much as possible. If they can do that and navigate through that Polish defense, they have a great chance of coming away with all three points.

Radamel Falcao

At 32 years of age, this might be Falcao's last World Cup at the peak of his goal-scoring powers. The veteran striker has 29 goals in just over 70 caps for Columbia in his career and will know Poland's weaknesses in the back. He's been hot in recent months, so expect a big game from him in this one.

David Ospina

Ospina is still the clear number one keeper for Columbia, but he could be pretty rusty after only playing in a few games for Arsenal last season. That could be a problem because Poland will be putting plenty of balls in the box and Columbia will be relying on Ospina to come up with some big saves.
