The New York Rangers take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The lightning lead the series 2-1. The opening line has New York at +110 and Tampa Bay at -130. The over/under has been set at 5.
The Rangers will look to tie the series up when they play their second game in Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference Finals. Game 2 was a back and fourth battle in which the Lightning were able to get a 6-5 win in the first overtime.
The first period started with Derick Brassard with a power play goal after Cedric Paquette was put in the penalty box for roughing. Then at the 10 minute mark, Jesper Fast scored his second goal of the playoffs. About a minute later, Steven Stamkos fired back with a goal assisted by Alex Killom.
Ondrej Palat started the scoring in the second period for the Lightning at the 10:32 mark with Tyler Johnson and Alex Killorn following that up with two more goals to give Tampa Bay a 4-2 lead. Jesper Fast then tallied his second goal of the night to bring the game within one goal.
The scoring continued in the third period with Ryan McDonagh scoring first for the Rangers before Ondrej Palat scored his second goal of the night for the Lightning. Then with two minutes left, Dan Boyle tied the game and sent this into overtime.
It didn't take long for the Lightning to end this one in the first overtime with Nikita Kucherov nailing a shot from the high slot give Tampa Bay a 2-1 lead in the series.
