On Sunday, the Nashville Predators will be playing against the Anaheim Ducks in a game between two of the worst power plays in the NHL.

During the 2013-14 season, the Ducks were able to win two out of their three games against the Predators. Nashville did have the most lopsided win of the series, though, by beating the Sucks 5-2 at home in their final meeting of the season.

Predators’ veteran center Mike Ribeiro has 14 goals and 35 assists in his 47 games against the Ducks, while All-Star defenseman Shea Weber has been able to accumulate 16 points in 28 games against them. Netminder Pekka Rinne has a solid 10-3-4 record against Anaheim in his career with two shutouts, a .922 save percentage and a 2.17 GAA.

On Friday night, the Ducks scored a late third-period goal to beat the St. Louis Blues 4-3 on home ice. Defenseman Sami Vatanen was the top star in that win by playing sound defense and assisting on two of his team's four goals.

The Ducks have one of the best records in the NHL right now despite being in the bottom half of the league in both scoring and power play percentage. Center Ryan Getzlaf has been one of the better offensive players in the Western Conference this season by notching 12 goals and 30 assists in just 38 games played.
