The Montreal Canadiens will look to extend their winning streak when they visit the New Jersey Devils on Friday night. During the 2013-14 season, the Canadiens were able to win two out of their three games against the Devils.

On Tuesday night, the Canadiens won their fourth straight game when they defeated the Florida Panthers 2-1 in the shootout. Backup goalie Dustin Tokarski was excellent in that win, stopping 36 of the 37 shots that came his way.

The Canadiens are currently in the top five in the NHL in both goals against and penalty kill percentage. Center Alex Galchenyuk has 10 goals on the season and is tied for the team lead in assists with 15. No. 1 goalie Carey Price has a 20-9-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.19 GAA and a .928 save percentage.

The Devils have now lost four out of their last five games after losing 3-1 to the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night. They were goalless on their three power play opportunities in that loss and they only ended up getting 13 of their shots on goal.

New Jersey's power play has been very good this season, but they are barely scoring more than two goals per game. Goalie Cory Schneider has been their best player so far this season by going 12-18-4 with two shutouts, a .918 save percentage and a 2.47 GAA.
