The Minnesota Wild, who have won just eight of their 18 road games this season, will travel to face the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.

Minnesota has been able to win both of their games against the Stars so far this season. Their most recent matchup came in late November when the Wild came away with a 5-4 overtime win on home ice.

In six starts against the Stars in his career, Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper has a 4-2-0 record with a solid .921 save percentage and a 2.65 GAA. Left wing Zach Parise has nine goals and 13 assists in his 16 games against Dallas, while star defenseman Ryan Suter has 14 points and a plus/minus of +4 against them in 35 career games.

On Wednesday night, the Stars were able to win their third game in a row by blowing out the Arizona Coyotes 6-0 at home. Goalie Kari Lehtonen was excellent in that win, saving all 32 shots that came his way for his third shutout of the season.

Through 36 games this season, the Stars are in the bottom half of the league in goals against and power play percentage. Lehtonen now has a 16-8-5 record on the season with a .908 save percentage and a 2.86 GAA. Left wing Jamie Benn is playing at an All-Star level this season and currently has 11 goals with 21 assists.
