Two Western Conference teams that have struggled this season will meet at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The Edmonton Oilers will take on the Colorado Avalanche. Edmonton is worst team in the National Hockey League, with just 23 points. The Oilers have dropped 9 of their last 10, but are coming off a win. For Colorado, they are only ahead of Arizona and Edmonton in the West. The Avalanche are coming off a loss to the Blues on Monday.

For Edmonton; they are the worst defensive team in all of the league. The Oilers are allowing teams to score 3.4 goals per game. In the win on Tuesday over the Los Angeles Kings, they needed overtime to win 3-2. The goal scorers in that one were Matt Hendricks and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. On the season, Edmonton is led by Jordan Eberle's 14 assists, and Nugent-Hopkins with 11 goals.
