On Saturday night, the Winnipeg Jets will be going up against the New York Rangers in a game between two teams that are struggling on the power play. The Jets and the Rangers each picked up a win in their two games against each other last season.

Against the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, the Jets gave up a game-tying goal late in the third period and ended up losing 2-1 in the shootout. They were 0-for-2 on the power play in that loss and their lone goal was scored early in the first period.

Through their first 10 games, the Jets are near the bottom of the league in scoring, but they do have one of the better penalty kills. Center Bryan Little currently leads the team in goals (5) and points (9), while defenseman Toby Enstrom has the team-lead in assists with eight.

On Monday, the Rangers were able to score five third-period goals to come back and beat the Minnesota Wild 5-4 on home ice. They won despite only having one power play opportunity and getting just 20 of their shots on goal.

The Rangers have done well to score 2.9 goals per game, but their defense has given up 3.3 goals per game. Their top player has been left wing Rick Nash, who has nine goals and 11 points through his team's first nine games. Goalie Henrik Lundqvist has a 5-3-0 record so far this season with a 3.25 GAA and a .891 save percentage.
