Sunday afternoon, the Winnipeg Jets will take the ice at the Xcel Energy Center as they face the Minnesota Wild.

The Winnipeg Jets will make the final stop of their 5 game road trip at the Xcel Energy Center after taking on the Nashville Predators Saturday night in Nashville. Like many of the teams in the NHL this season, the Jets have played better on the road than they have at home. They have played well on their current road trip and will try to continue their success on Sunday. Winnipeg has had trouble getting the puck into the back of the net and they might extend their scoring woes against the Wild. Minnesota has a stingy defense that will compound Winnipeg's scoring troubles. If Winnipeg has a slight advantage, it will be that Minnesota could be a little tired after playing a Saturday afternoon game of their own.

The Minnesota Wild will return home to face the Jets after playing the Dallas Stars in Dallas on Saturday afternoon. In recent games, the Wild have infrequently lit the lamp and the prospects for them to do it in this game are slim. Winnipeg is one of the league leaders in goals allowed and Minnesota will have a hard time getting anything on the board. If they are too fatigued after coming in from Dallas, it will make their task of seeking a win even harder. If they can get an equally tired Winnipeg team, they might have a chance to steal a win.
