The Winnipeg Jets will be going on the road on Tuesday night to face the Dallas Stars, who are 5-5-5 on home ice this season. The Stars won three out of their five games against the Jets a season ago.

On Sunday night, the Jets had their two-game winning streak snapped when the Anaheim Ducks beat them 4-3 in overtime. Defenseman Jacob Trouba was solid in that losing effort, finishing with a goal and an assist.

The Jets have played well defensively this season, giving up just 2.2 goals per game to their opponents. Their best offensive contributor has been center Bryan Little, who currently has 11 goals and is tied for the team lead in points with 19.

The Stars were able to end their four-game losing skid on Saturday night when they routed the Montreal Canadiens 4-1 on home ice. Dallas played great defense in that one, holding Montreal to just 17 shots on goal.

So far this year, the Stars have been able to score 2.9 goals per game, but their defense and goaltending is allowing 3.5 goals per game. Center Tyler Seguin has had a great start to the season by scoring 21 goals and providing an assist on 14 others. Veteran goalie Kari Lehtonen has a 10-6-5 record this year with one shutout, a 3.03 GAA and a .904 save percentage.
