The Washington Capitals will play the final game of their three-game road trip when they visit the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night.

The Caps and the Devils have already played each other three times this season, with Washington coming away the victors in two of those games. Their last game was earlier this month, when the Capitals were able to easily beat the Devils 4-1 on the road.

In his 36 career games against Washington, Devils right wing Michael Ryder has notched 15 goals and six assists. Veteran Jaromir Jagr has 90 points in his 77 games against the Capitals, while goalie Cory Schneider has gone 3-3-0 against them in his career with one shutout, a solid 1.94 GAA and a .933 save percentage.

On Thursday night, the Capitals scored a late third period goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets and ended up pulling off a 5-4 overtime win on the road. They were clearly the better offensive team in that game, outshooting the Blue Jackets 36-26.

The Caps have scored nearly three goals per game this season and currently have the top power play in the NHL. Netminder Braden Holtby has a 13-7-5 record this season with a 2.38 GAA and a .914 save percentage. Star winger Alex Ovechkin has a team-high 14 goals through 31 games while also providing 12 assists to his teammates.
