On Tuesday, the Washington Capitals will attempt to snap their two-game losing streak when they take on the Arizona Coyotes. The Caps and the Coyotes played each other twice last season, with both teams picking up a home win.

The Capitals never got their offense going in that game against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday and ended up taking a 4-1 road loss. They never got a chance to go on the power play in that game and they finished with just 25 shots on goal.

Washington has been able to score 2.9 goals per game so far this year, but they are also giving up 2.8 goals per game. All-Star Alex Ovechkin has been cold recently, but he does have eight goals and eight assists through 17 games. Goalie Braden Holtby is 5-4-2 in his 12 starts with one shutout, a .909 save percentage and a 2.41 GAA.

On Sunday, the Coyotes won their second straight game by defeating the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 on the road. Goalie Devan Dubnyk was the first star in that game by making 33 saves and finishing with a .971 save percentage.

The Coyotes have only scored 2.6 goals per game this season, and they have given up 3.1 goals per game. Dubnyk is now 4-0-1 with a shutout and a .925 save percentage.
