The Washington Capitals and the Vancouver Canucks last met on October 28th in Vancouver. The Canucks pulled out the win over the Capitals with a 3-2 victory. The Capitals managed to make this a closely contested contest, but Vancouver would ultimately have the last laugh. The Capitals are hanging in the middle of the pack in their division with seventy points. Their division leader is Pittsburgh with ninety points.
