The Vancouver Canucks will be going for their third win in a row when they take on the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night.

In their first meeting this season, the Canucks were able to pull off a 2-1 shootout win over the Ducks in Anaheim. Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen was the first star of that game despite losing as he was able to stop 34 shots and finished with a solid .971 save percentage.

Anderson has now gone up against the Canucks five times in his career, going 4-0-1 against them with a 1.36 GAA and a very good .957 save percentage. Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf has accumulated 33 points in his 35 games against Vancouver, while right wing Corey Perry has notched 14 goals and 20 assists in his 35 games against them..

Last Monday, the Canucks played one of their best offensive games of the season when they routed the Arizona Coyotes 7-1 at home. They put 40 shots on goal in that win and they ended up going 3-for-6 on the power play.

Through 33 games this season, the Canucks are near the top of the Western Conference in both scoring and penalty kill percentage. Right wing Radim Vrbata has had a good start to the season by notching 13 goals and 12 assists. Netminder Ryan Miller is now 18-7-0 with three shutouts, a 2.59 GAA and a .906 save percentage.
