The Utah Jazz were able to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-101 the last time they played each other despite a huge game from Thunder star Kevin Durant. The MVP candidate had 48 points in the game, but Utah had a great second quarter and were able to hold on for the win.

Gordon Hayward just about matched Durant's point production on the night, scoring 37 points and pulling down 11 rebounds to help his team pull off the upset. The fourth-year shooting guard made 13 of his 16 field goal attempts in the game and ended up scoring a career high. Besides Hayward's great game, one of the main reasons why the Jazz won this one was their overall team shooting from the field. They were able shoot over 58% from the field on the night against the Thunder's normally reliable defense.

Even with his high scoring output, Durant also hurt the Thunder in this one.  He missed 20 shot attempts in the game, including going just 3-of-13 from the three-point line. Durant also added seven rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks to go along with his 48 points in the losing effort.

Thunder guard Reggie Jackson, who had 20 points in the game, was the only other player on the team to score in double figures for the team.
