The Tampa Bay Lightning will be playing in their third straight road game on Thursday night when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. During the 2013-14 season, the Lightning and the Maple Leafs each won two games in their four-game regular season series.

The Maple Leafs had no answer for the Nashville Predators' offense on Tuesday when they were embarrassed 9-2 in front of their home fans. Goalie Jonathan Bernier started the game, but he gave up three goals on just 12 shots faced.

The Maple Leafs are scoring 3.1 goals per game, but they are also giving up 3.1 goals per game.. Right wing Phil Kessel has led the offense by notching 11 goals and 11 assists through 19 games. Defenseman Cody Franson has also been solid by scoring three goals and providing 10 assists.
