On Tuesday night, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be playing in the third of five straight road games when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers.

In their first game against each other this season, the Tampa Bay was able to beat the Flyers 4-3 on home ice. The star of that game was Lightning center Steven Stamkos, who finished with two goals and an assist in the win.

Stamkos has now scored 16 goals and provided nine assists in 21 career games against the Flyers, while veteran Valtteri Filppula has notched 10 points in his nine games against them. Goalie Ben Bishop has only faced Philadelphia two times in his career, going 1-1-0 with a .926 save percentage and a 2.53 GAA.

On Saturday night, the Flyers won their second game in a row when they blew out the Carolina Hurricanes 5-1 at home. Scott Laughton, Jakub Voracek and Wayne Simmonds each had a goal and an assist for the Flyers in that win.

The Flyers have struggled a bit on offense this season, but their power play is one of the best by scoring on 24 percent of their opportunities. Voracek has been one of their better players this season by scoring 11 goals and sharing the team lead in assists with 26. Netminder Steve Mason has a 6-9-4 record this year with one shutout, a .918 save percentage and a 2.60 GAA.
