The solid power play of the Tampa Bay Lightning will face the struggling penalty kill of the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.

Last season, the Lightning and the Flames picked up one win apiece in their two-game regular season series. Tampa Bay won their January matchup 2-0 on the road, while the Flames picked up a 4-1 road victory in March.

In his career, Lightning netminder Ben Bishop is just 1-3-0 against Calgary with a .891 save percentage and a 2.53 GAA. Veteran center Valtteri Filppula has five goals, four assists and a plus-4 in 25 career games against Calgary, while defenseman Matt Carle has a goal and eight assists in 14 games against them.

The Flames were able to score three goals in the second period in their game against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday and easily won 4-1. They only committed three penalties in the game and they were 1-for-3 on their power play chances.

Calgary is averaging 2.3 goals per game and they are giving up 2.7 goals per game. Flames left wing Mason Raymond has been solid through seven games, scoring five goals and assisting on two others. Defenseman TJ Brodie has also had a great start to the season by scoring three goals and notching seven assists. Netminder Jonas Hiller has a 2-2-0 record through four starts with a .942 save percentage and a 2.22 GAA.
