The Tampa Bay Lightning will be going on the road on Tuesday night to face the Buffalo Sabres, who have won five out of their last six games.

The Lightning and the Sabres played each other four times last season, with Tampa Bay winning three of the games. The Lightning did win three of those four games, but each of those wins was only by one goal.

Lightning center Steven Stamkos has scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists in his 23 games against the Sabres, while right wing Ryan Callahan has notched 14 points in 26 games against them. Goaltender Ben Bishop has done well against Buffalo in his career, going 4-0-1 against them with a 2.31 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

Last Saturday, the Sabres won their second game in a row when the Montreal Canadiens beat them 4-3 in the shootout. They won that game despite going 0-for-1 on the power play and only finishing with 26 shots on goal.

The Sabres have had one of the worst offenses in the NHL this season by only scoring 1.7 goals per game. Netminder Jhonas Enroth has a 5-9-1 record on the season with a .914 save percentage and a 3.11 GAA. Left wing Tyler Ennis has had a good start to the year by notching seven goals and nine assists for the Sabres.
