St. Louis has put their one big question to test after acquiring goalie Ryan Miller and looks poised to make a legitimate run for the Stanley Cup. The Blues won the first 3 games that Miller started and have turned things around since starting 0-2 after the Olympic break. Minnesota doesn't seem impressed though as they've won their first three games since returning from Sochi and look to send a message for this possible first round playoff preview.
The Blues have posted 4-2 victories in Phoenix and at home against Tampa Bay after falling into 0-2 deficits. St. Louis bettors were thankful for the resilience as they covered money lines of -132 and -180.
Counting the Olympic break Minnesota didn't lose for a month, going 5-0 from February 4th to March 4th. The Sunday night game versus St. Louis at home is interesting because both teams will be playing on the second end of a back to back.
St. Louis will look to go 3-0 against the Wild this season after a 3-0 victory on November 25th followed by a 2-1 win on New Year's Eve. In the most recent matchup T.J. Oshie started the scoring at 6:49 in the second followed by teammate Jaden Schwartz's goal at 15:59. The Wild were able to cut the deficit in half but Ryan Suter's goal at 19:51 was too little too late. Those who had taken St. Louis -134 were happy as were the total bettors who once again cashed in on a St. Louis / Minnesota under.
